The doomscrolling was getting me down.

So I took a break from social media and fully immersed myself in a glorious summer with my boys.

It really has been a beautiful summer one that opened the door to big conversations in our house.

After a year of mainstream school we're ready to step back into home education! It's big news in the Haile house, one that we're all very excited about. And I'm sharing it here because it means that how I work will likely be changing.

I won't be able to work as much as I have this past year and my boys education of course comes first. I have no idea how that looks right now but I'm excited to explore this new chapter.

I hope everyone has had a lovely break with their littles. Whether you're returning to school or not I'm sending love as the season nears it's end.

A reminder that your children don’t need an expensive summer to make beautiful memories.

We’ve spent most of our summer holidays in South Wales exploring nature, meeting friends and slowing down. No packed itinerary. No pressure. Just space to play, imagine and be together.

Sometimes the simplest family days out become the memories they treasure most.

Jess said she wanted her newborn photos to feel real...

Well it doesn't get much more real than your toddler crawling under the furniture in search of lost toys. Then cuddling his baby sister the next moment.

They might not be the most styled images but they really do capture, the joy and chaos of bringing your second baby home.

Every year, World Breastfeeding Week seems to bring with it the same conversations. Somehow, something as ordinary and instinctive as feeding a baby becomes another thing used to divide mothers.

But I don't think that's what most breastfeeding mothers are doing when they share their stories.

When a mother celebrates breastfeeding for six weeks, six months or six years, when she shares a photograph of nursing her baby, or speaks about what breastfeeding means to her, she's rarely saying, "This is what you should have done."

More often, she's writing a love letter to the version of herself who sat awake at 3am through broken sleep. The one with cracked ni***es, leaking breasts, sore shoulders and tears in her eyes, wondering if she could keep going.

She's whispering, "You made it. It was hard, but you did it."

And in sharing those words, another mother in those exhausting early days might stumble across it and think, *Maybe I can do it too.*

So this World Breastfeeding Week, what if we refused to let something so full of love become another reason to compare or compete?

What if, instead, we simply celebrated the mothers walking this path, while holding space for every family doing what is right for them.

A huge thank you to the beautiful women who joined me at the waterfalls to nurse their babies together, share stories, laugh, connect and create memories I hope they'll treasure forever. It was such a privilege to witness and photograph this day of love.
