Barbara Bromhead-Wragg Photography Wildlife and flower gifts
from my welsh wildlife garden to you.. Bringing nature to your everyday

I live & work near the Black Mountains, where the views and wildlife are amazing, as are the people. Born in Sheffield, we moved to my mother's home county of Herefordshire when I was a child. I fell in love with this border landscape from an early age, the background imagery to my growing love of photography, which my father patiently taught & encouraged. Fine Art trained in Painting, Prinkmaking

and Photography, I was inspired when I first moved to the area 10 years ago by the amount of wild flowers to be seen. I first began to photograph the variety of wildflowers I found as a simple record & to learn more (some of them conjure memories of my maternal grandmother)
What began with wildflowers has evolved to celebrate what I see around me combined with my love of light and colour - intermixed with visits by some of the local wildlife! The majority of my photos are taken in my garden or the Black Mountains area local to me. A smaller number are taken on my occasional travels to the UK coast. I am proud to be a member of Made in Monmouthshire and the Wye Valley Crafts Association. Stockists/Retail outlets:
The Makers Gallery, Crickhowell
WVCA shop, Abbey Mill, Tintern

Thanks for visiting. :)

My favourite is the first image - I find myself captivated every time I look at this one...
I'm going to have to treat myself one day very soon!

I love Clare's use of colour, so rich & vibrant - those autumn leaves! I can hear them crunch and crinkle...

I really admire how she captures both the delicacy and strength of her subjects 😍

I've known Clare for a few years now, as a fellow member of the collective Made in Monmouthshire (MiM), often spending happy Food Festival events with Clare at a neighbouring stand

Not only is she a fabulous botanical artist but a lovely person too!

Want to see more? Find Clare's work at near Usk.

We're open Wednesday - Saturday 10.30am to 4pm,
11am to 4pm on Sundays

So today I'm at the fabulous Kington Vintage Rally! So many lovely old vehicles

I'm a two wheel fan but there's something for everyone, steam engines, lorries and more...

I'm here with my wildlife goodies, including a new item for this weekend - fabric covered hardback journals...

Also my printing service - at last year's show I met a guy who is restoring the last working steam tug in the country, so I'm now honoured to print for the Cervia too 😁

Here til 4pm, find me down by the old cars! (Those were the days..)
