Erika Wade Photography Thunder Bay Photographer I've always loved taking pictures. I have a lot to learn still, but am really excited to be on this journey.

Since around the age of 12, I have been waving a camera around my friends faces, and had my pockets full of filled film rolls. I've been lucky to have such tolerant friends who "let" me chronicle our lives before photoshop, filters, and cell phones with camera's were ever a thing (or even just cell phones for that matter lol). Despite chronicling all of our awkward moments as teens, this amazing g

roup of friends that I have have stuck with me through this entire learning process, and have had endless conversations about how I think I don't measure up to the photographers that I know, love, and respect their art so much. They have pushed me to let go of my fear of putting myself out there to be critiqued and criticized, and made me realize that I need to stop comparing myself to everyone else, and just continue at working at becoming better than I was before. So a big thank you goes out to all of my friends, family, and husband for telling me to get over myself (lol) and just do it already! Tracey Maki, Sam Maki, Erin Mayotte, Amanda Korte and so many others (Ashley Maria), you've all helped me create Erika Wade Photography by being the best support I could have ever asked for, and for making such pretty babies for me to use as models! Thank you to everyone for the support and love.

I am soooo excited to announce these B&W Kids Personality Minis!

These b&w portraits are all about showcasing WHO they are at this exact moment in time.

Goofy smiles- amazing.

Messy hair- perfection.

Missing front teeth- everything.

Time can go by so quickly & there are never enough photos.

These simple photos are exactly what I love most about photography- freezing that moment in time where you want to remember exactly what it was like. Trying to hold onto moments that move faster than time.

These photos are timeless and the focus is 100% on creating a fun space where their personalities can shine through.

Sessions are for 1 child only in order to give them time to be fully captured. Please book back to back sessions if you are booking siblings in, and of course we can grab some siblings shots as well ♥️

Sessions will be held at the brand new ! I am so excited to have partnered with this amazing local company that cultivates such an incredible sense of self with the kids they work with (my son included!) I will send out an email prior to sessions with some more details.

So incredibly excited to share this handful of photos I took at tonight’s dress rehearsal for Cast C’s production of Shrek the Musical (kids) by !

I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at what’s to come this week, and I was absolutely FLOORED by the talent these kiddos have.

The directors have done such an awesome job cultivating a space where the kids are able to shine & you could see all the things that come from being part of this community- a sense of self, building each other up, being brave enough to put yourself out there, and so much more. Made my photographer heart proud, but my mom heart even prouder 🩵🩵🩵
