🎨 Calling All Indigenous Artists! 🎨

Greenstone Mine is looking for Indigenous artists from our local communities to showcase their artwork in the Indigenous Relations Space. Selected artists will receive compensation for artwork chosen for display.

This is a wonderful opportunity to share your creativity, culture, stories, values, and connection to the land with others. All art forms and styles are welcome, including painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art, and more.

📅 Submission Deadline: June 21, 2026
🖼 One artist will be selected from each participating community.

2nd Annual Red Dress Run at Boulevard Lake📸

Red Dress Day, observed annually on May 5, is a National Day of Remembrance and Activism that honors the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S+).
The day originated from the REDress Project, created in 2010 by Métis artist Jaime Black, which involved hanging empty red dresses in public spaces to represent the absence and loss of Indigenous women and gender-diverse people due to colonial and gender-based violence.
Red Dress Day raises awareness about the disproportionate levels of violence faced by Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people, and calls for collective action to address this national crisis.
It is a time to educate oneself, reflect on the historical and ongoing injustices experienced by Indigenous communities, and engage with the 231 Calls for Justice issued by the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.

Apologies for the lack of content & posting recently. Between balancing school & work full time- my life has been very busy... However, that semester is over and I am ready to take on more projects😁. I would have liked to include a photo of me with my first year Seneca Polytechnic Graphic Design Certification... but it hasn't arrived in the mail yet😑. I will slowly be incorporating some of the graphic elements i learned into some of my work- which i cant wait to do😆. I have many different photography/videography shoots and projects coming very soon and I cant wait to show you guys!
