The balloon is put away, but we are already thinking of our next adventure.
It takes an army of like minded people to pull off events like the Rise Up Hot Air Balloon Festival. Thank you so much to W***y and Cindy Taillon, as well as everyone on their team for having us.
Our first festival was, in our opinion an outstanding success.
These things also don't happen without people who are willing to get up (suuuper) early, roll up their sleeves and do some heavy lifting by crewing for all the balloons. So to Judy, Kelly, Reinhard, Stacy Foster and our local Rise Up crew, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Without all the sponors, none of this gets off the ground (pun fully intened) so to our sponsor Hranco Industries Ltd. Thank you so, so much. It was a pleasure to meet you Cody and Cindy. Fridays flight with you was a tonne of fun.
There's easily a hundred other people who deserve our thanks, all the other pilots for the warm welcome and our friends and mentors at the Calgary Balloon Club.
