Translucent Photography Candid Wedding, Elopement & Family Photography based on the South Coast NSW. You've heard the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words", right?

Located in the beautiful coastal city of Wollongong, Australia, specialising in wedding & lifestyle photography. Sparked by travel from a young age, capturing moments and telling stories with my camera has become a part of who I am. I aspire with every single photograph I take to live up to this - images that tell a story that signify a moment. Whether it be a wedding, maternity or even a family session, I capture events exactly as they are, personalities, raw emotion and everything in between!

Five years ago, two cops met on a training course at work & told everyone they were ‘just friends’. Last weekend, in front of many of those same people, Steph & Rob finally had to retire that story for good.

Their wedding took us from St Peter Chanel Catholic Church in Woolwich to Angelo’s Cabarita, with Sydney serving up intermittent rain & some ridiculously moody skies in between. And when the rain cleared at exactly the right moments, we absolutely made the most of them - including that skyline doing its thing across the harbour. Throw in a London cab for transport & there was plenty of character to this one before we’d even made it to the reception.

And then there was Rob’s brother on MC duties, who had more tricks up his sleeve than a seasoned magician. Having the inside scoop of literally being the groom’s brother meant everything he’d organised was incredibly personal to them - including a slideshow of recorded messages from their loved ones & three surprise cameos from actors from Rob’s favourite show, Blue Heelers, including John Wood & Martin Sacks.

But I think my favourite little thread through the whole thing was that original ‘just friends from work’ story making its way into the reception. Five years, one wedding & photographic evidence later… I don’t think anyone’s buying it anymore.

A few frames from Steph & Rob’s Sydney wedding.

Third session with the Kouzans & we FINALLY got a sunset!

I photographed their engagement which was overcast, then their wedding gave us all seasons in a day with patches of both rain & sunshine but inevitably, again, no sunset.

Finally, for their first family session with me before their ridiculously adorable son’s first birthday, we got our sunset! And it was absolutely worth the wait.

Here’s a few frames from that afternoon & the third chapter I’ve now been lucky enough to photograph for the Kouzans. Swipe through the very end to see my favourite frames between Alex & his son from this session!

Stormy moody skies bring me a ridiculous amount of joy. Which probably sounds slightly sadistic given they usually aren’t far off turning into actual storms 😅 But the contrast of these ominous dark clouds against the lush grounds of Bendooley Estate The Stables just looks so damn good. Florals that stunning & a super fun wedding party made this one even better.

Caroline & Michael’s Bendooley Estate wedding absolutely delivered 🤍

Can you tell I had an absolute blast with these two?! Chris & Jason’s smiles and laughter were completely infectious from the second we started portraits, and I don’t think there was a single moment across the day where they weren’t making each other laugh.

We kicked things off with pre-ceremony portraits before heading down to the beautiful Old Wollongong Courthouse for their intimate elopement surrounded by their closest family & friends. Between the laughter, the energy these two brought, and just how genuinely joyful they are together, this was such a fun one to photograph 🖤

A few favourites from Chris & Jason’s Wollongong elopement.

Autumn weddings in the Southern Highlands really are something else 😮‍💨🍂

Emily & Jordan’s wedding at Growwild Wildflower Farm was one of those days where everything aligned perfectly. The NSW Southern Highlands absolutely shines during autumn, with the trees turning every shade of red and gold, and Growwild coming alive amongst it all. Pair that with perfect weather and an unreal sunset, and the scene was set for such an incredible wedding day.

What made this one even more special for me though, was already knowing Emily’s family after photographing her sister’s wedding back in 2023. Somehow 2026 has become the year of photographing the weddings of siblings of past couples, and honestly, being trusted by families to come back and document another huge chapter of their lives is something I never take for granted.

And truly, the people made this day what it was. I already knew Emily’s side were wonderful, but meeting Jordan’s family and all of their loved ones too - this wedding was just filled with genuinely kind, welcoming people everywhere you turned. The best atmosphere, the biggest celebrations, and such a joy to photograph from beginning to end.

A stunning autumn wedding at Growwild, two incredible humans, and the dreamiest Southern Highlands light 🍂✨

There’s something really special about being invited back into someone’s story.

I photographed Katie & Patrick’s wedding in 2024, so when they reached out to share their news and asked me to capture this next chapter, I was genuinely so excited! Being trusted to document these moments beyond the wedding day and to see your lives grow is something I never take for granted.

This one felt like such a full circle moment. Same two people, same connection, just with a whole new kind of anticipation and excitement.

Katie & Patrick, such a beautiful season for you both 🤍

Last week at The Stables at Bendooley Estate with Caroline & Michael 🤍

Such a fun day with these two — everything just felt easy, relaxed, and full of genuine moments. Rain was forecast for the afternoon, but instead we got those moody Southern Highlands skies rolling through, followed by the most incredible golden sunset. Truly the best of both worlds for an autumn wedding in Bowral.

And this one felt extra special. I photographed Michael’s brother Brock’s wedding at Book Barn at Bendooley Estate back in February 2024, so being trusted to capture both weddings across the two Bendooley Estate venues is something I don’t take lightly.

From South Africa to the South Coast — and somehow, it felt like home the whole way through 🤍

Kerri & John’s story isn’t one that fits neatly into a single place. With their lives (and their people) scattered across the globe, it only made sense to bring everyone together somewhere as special as Hyams Beach to celebrate — just one week before making things official back home.

And honestly… why wouldn’t you choose white sand, ocean air, and your favourite humans all in one place?

What stood out most about this day wasn’t just the setting (though that sunset absolutely delivered), but the people. The kind of warm, welcoming, genuinely wholesome energy that you feel the second you step into it — the hugs, the laughter, the way everyone just showed up for them.

An absolute joy to capture alongside some of my South Coast favourites: , & ✨
