Mumsy.

I’m always grateful for my mum - if you have ever met her or heard about her in stories you have to agree…she’s the best!

Today is Mother’s Day and I’m grateful for my@mum, but also so many other women who I looked up to and who looked out for me. I’m grateful for the generations of women who have been before me to make my world a better place for me.

And Im grateful for this photo of my mum.

Meet Helen!

This year Helen turned 80 and her family got together and organized for some photos of Helen and everyone! Such a lovely idea and one of my most downloaded galleries for sure!!!

What a great New Year’s resolution this would make! Get everyone together and book photos of them all for the memories and keepsakes and mantles and generations to come!

And just like that…we are back to long distance.
Thankful for Snapchat, WhatsApp and the friendship I know will keep on keeping on no matter where we are.

Also, friends should get more photos together. Like a couple session…but with less touching.

My work wife from my other life…has managed to come visit me TWICE this year! Making the gaping chasm that has felt like my Denver self and this new Wollongong world feel a little smaller.
Ash has been one of the most influential people in my entire life - handing me a camera and trusting me to represent her brand at weddings opened up a whole new world for me and now I daydream and night dream about shoots, I build sets in my mind and I get a little sense of control in the chaos when I can click the shutter and freeze a moment in time, looking just how I want it to.
I miss so much about my last season of life, especially having this one next to me pushing me to be better, to create bigger and to get up every time I stumbled over myself.
Also….what a babe.

My advice? Your dress is going to get dirty. Just embrace it! Lie in the grass, dance on the beach, love your best life! And then find a good dry cleaner to deal with it later.
