Oh good lawdy, it has been a minute between posts 😬 Howdy, and welcome back.
Truth be told, ya gal needed a minute away to recalibrate, focus solely on myself, my little lady and my photography….and to eventually get back to loving sharing my work on social media again…it got a bit overwhelming there for a sec and taking up far too much rent-free space in my brain…Which then lead to overwhelm and the strong desire to throw my phone in the bin and start growing tomatoes on a remote property (still not a terrible idea, thinking about it!).
I’m a photographer… a visual artist. I have no desire to go viral with Reels to appease an algorithm quotient. My work is visual, and making reels with it feels like a highly unnecessary added task that not only implies I do something other than that, it takes away from the whole dang reason I am here…so far less cringey reels (that I never wanted to bloody do in the first place 😬) from me…more showcasing what I actually do…
Photograph people on their most special days, in their moments and turning that in to art…not wasting time trying to make a still art move ✌🏻
