this was my first time seeing these 12 class locos in person and my first time seeing pb classes on the mainline. the pb's are returning from ugl's wheel lathe. loco numbers: 1202, 1201, pb5, pb6. photos taken 5/1/26 at Corrimal station.

a post with an interesting story today on 12/12/25 i was taking photos at exeter when the The Picnic Train transfer came through. upon 5917 rolling on through i noticed a machined brass block with some fittings on it on the track, i shared my find on another Facebook group where i was then met with some messages from crew members saying they need this part. i met the crew at moss vale to pick up a crew member to collect the item and return it to 5917. i assume the repairs were made and the crew was on track again glad i could help out, was defiantly the most interesting track side experience ive had.

definitely not feeling like summer in Exeter today, will make for some neat shots tho 👀
