W O R K S H O P | Cassowaries in the forest 💚🐓
The countdown to school holidays is ON! 🎉 Why not kick them off with a little creativity and a glass of w**e? 🍷🎨 Come wind down with us at The W**e Bar for our BRAND NEW Cassowary Workshop! 😍

Inspired by a magnificent father who I have had the pleasure of seeing raise many chicks, you'll create this beautiful watercolour artwork featuring a cassowary and its chick wandering through vibrant rainforest foliage.

I am SO excited for this one! I’ve carefully planned each step and created a printed template featuring our Cassowary Dad and chick outline, making it super easy for you to create your painting 💖

Tickets include instructions, mediums, materials and a glass of w**e from the W**e Bar!

After lots of requests for a Townsville elopement and micro-wedding event, we’re so excited to introduce the newest edition to our Hitch & Ditch wedding events, Hitched at the Heritage! 😍

If you’re looking for a way to get married that’s beautiful, intimate and completely low-fuss, this might just be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

Our all-inclusive elopement and micro-wedding packages have been created for couples who want to skip the stress and the price tag that can come with a traditional full-day wedding, and instead celebrate their love in a more relaxed setting, with the people who matter most 💕

We’ve taken care of the important bits, so you can simply turn up and say I do. Your package includes:
💚 A beautiful venue
💚 A personalised wedding ceremony
💚 A short photography session to capture all the moments
💚 The option to invite guests
💚 And the opportunity to add a reception to your package (ask us how!)

We’ll be holding Hitched at the Heritage on two dates in 2027:
🌿 Saturday, March 13th:
Our debut date, it's in the NQ wedding off-season so everything will be gorgeous and green! And if you're worried about rain, don't be, we have big beautiful verandahs to utilise if needed 😍 We're offering 10% OFF all packages to celebrate our first Hitched at the Heritage event! 💖

Our all-inclusive Rainforest Romance elopement and micro-wedding packages have been created for couples that want to ditch the hassle that comes with a full-day wedding and exchange vows in a more intimate setting, for a fraction of the cost.
