👷‍♀️ The work worth talking about is often the work people don’t see.
I’m in Tasmania this week working with Tim Hyde Max Cullen for Master Builders Tasmania - Industry Organisation and their initiative, helping capture stories that showcase women working in the building and construction industry.
It’s a great initiative focused on supporting women into construction, helping create opportunities, and building a stronger, more inclusive industry.
And it got me thinking about something I see across so many of the businesses I work with.
If people don't see what you're doing, how can they understand the value you're creating?
There are businesses doing incredible work every day, supporting their customers, employing great people, solving problems and contributing to their industries, but much of that work happens behind the scenes.
Sharing this story professionally give businesses a way to bring that work into the light. Not simply to make a business look good, but to show the people behind it, demonstrate expertise, build trust and give customers, potential employees and industry partners a reason to connect.
That's one of the things I love about projects like this. I'm not only capturing video. I'm helping tell stories that deserve a bigger audience.
Proud to be part of this one.
And if your business is doing great work that more people should know about, perhaps it's time to make it more visible.
