Hey folks! Over lockdown I decided to do a bit of learnin’ about the film scene here in Oz and got to writing a little podcast called “Advance Australia Film” for anyone else interested in doing some learnin’ too!
I was fortunate enough to be able to record the first episode before our studio got locked down and had planned to record a few more before I released it, but while I’m organising my own rig and continuing writing more I thought I might as well send it out there as a bit of a pilot ep. I’ll be hopefully releasing it next week once it’s up on all the fancy streaming services so keep an eye out!
I’ll also be adding extra tidbits of info onto social media over on instagram and here on Facebook at the same name so feel free to give them a follow!
This first episode will be a very brief overview of the early days and inception of cinema in Australia with forthcoming eps to have a bit more of a deep dive into certain aspects and stories as I move through history. I absolutely adore “You Must Remember This” and while I didn’t want to replicate it too much (kinda), it’s certainly in that vein. Any feedback welcome!
