Drift Cadets, Portelli World & Performance World at Meguiar’s MotorEx 2026
Drift Cadet’s proved once again that drifting is equal parts skill, bravery and controlled chaos. Even with the rain making conditions sketchy the drivers were throwing cars sideways with unbelievable precision, keeping the crowd’s heart rates pinned high the entire time.
The combination of tight tandem runs, screaming tyres, and exhaust notes bouncing through the venue was enough to raise the hairs on the back of your neck. It’s impossible not to get caught up in the atmosphere.
One thing is certain having drifting as part of MotorEx keeps the event alive and exciting. Static car displays are great but a bit of tyre smoke and controlled mayhem reminds everyone that cars are built to move.
- Portelli World LMCT+ was on another level altogether. Big-dollar machinery, DJs pumping music, drinks flowing, and games everywhere you looked. The entire setup felt more like an exclusive luxury party than part of a car show.
It gave everyone a chance to feel like the rich and famous for a few hours, even if most of us were just mentally calculating how many lifetimes it would take to afford some of the cars on display.
The Two Koenigsegg Jesko's drew massive attention all weekend but my personal favourite had to be the slammed Ferrari sitting perfectly. Sometimes simple styling speaks louder than horsepower figures.
- Performance World was heaven for anyone obsessed with building cars. Packed with major brands from across the automotive industry. This was the place where dream builds start and bank accounts become nervous.
From engines, cams, and superchargers through to detailing gear and accessories there was something for every type of enthusiast.
Whether you’re chasing huge horsepower numbers or just wanting your car cleaner than your kitchen bench this tent had it covered.
