I’ve been so quiet on here lately, and I’m just going to be honest about why. When you’re wearing all the hats, the posting and marketing is the thing that quietly slips to the bottom of the list. But I’m still here, still doing the work I love the most.
Capturing your babies and family moments is still the very heart of what I do, newborns especially. I’ve loved watching my world grow too, the childcare centre photos, your parties and christenings, the weddings coming up, the branding sessions…. All of it. But those brand new babies will always be my favourite.
Behind the scenes though, life is loud. I’m nearly finished uni, caring for international students (whoever told you teenagers are easy was lying), and at the beginning of another IVF journey.
That last one I went back and forth about sharing. But I don’t want to hide it, because so many of you are walking this same road quietly while still showing up for everyone else. The hope, the waiting, trying not to get your heart too far ahead of yourself… it’s a lot to carry. And maybe it’s part of why I love this work so much. I know exactly what these little people mean, and I don’t take a single newborn, a single squishy cheek, a single tired new mum in front of my camera for granted.
So if you’ve wondered where I went, I’m here. Still juggling, still hoping, still turning up. I’m working through all your edits as fast as this full life will let me, and every image is hand edited one by one, because I won’t send you anything that isn’t exactly how I want it to be. Every single one matters to me.
Thank you for being patient with the real, messy version of me. She’s all I’ve got, and I wouldn’t want to hand you anything less. 🤍
