Pure Love Portraiture

Pure Love Portraiture Hi I’m Cassandra, and welcome to my page. I am a photographer based in Camden, NSW. My work follows the life style approach.

A little bit about me- I am a qualified accountant who has spent many years studying and working long hours, without taking the time to stop and enjoy the little things in life. Since becoming a wife and mother, I have come to realise how quickly time goes by and how precious every second is with your family. My true passions in life have always been photography, design and drawing which I had sup

pressed for many years during my studies. After the birth of my second child I made the conscious decision to pursue my long lost love, with the motivation to capture the raw emotions, love and stories of life that come and go before we know it. My intention is to document moments in life as they are, in order to help preserve your story. I always put a piece of my heart into all of my work, as I feel honored to be able to aid in preserving such precious memories for people. My style is very natural and candid, as to capture your life as it is and how you will remember it. Browse through my site and I hope you like what you see. I would love to help you capture a little piece of your world, that you will treasure for a lifetime.

Newborns: I see you’ve finally scheduled your newborn session. Should I:

1. Stay awake the entire day before
2. Want feeding every 20 minutes
3. Only settle when I’m being held
4. Save my biggest poo explosion for the white wrap

Honestly though… this is exactly why you don’t need to stress before your session.

Babies do baby things.
And that’s completely expected.

Your session is never rushed, we take breaks whenever needed, and I guide you through everything so you can just breathe and enjoy being in this season with your little one.

Let’s be real… if you’re a new mum, chances are you’re living in a state of beautiful but very unorganised chaos.

During pregnancy, you probably spent hours researching baby products, decorating the nursery, and maybe even looking at newborn photographers. You fully intended to book a session… but then life happened.

Now your baby is here.

The days are blending together, you’re running on very little sleep, and somehow your tiny newborn is already changing before your eyes.

Maybe you’ve started wondering if you’ve left it too late.

If you’ve been feeling that little pang of regret every time you notice how much they’ve grown this week compared to last… I want you to know that it’s not too late.

My sessions are family led and baby focused, which means I can beautifully capture your newborn right through to 6 weeks of age. There is still time to document those tiny details, the way they fit into your arms, and this season of life that feels both endless and gone in an instant.

So if you’ve been putting it off because you think you’ve missed your chance… consider this your sign that you haven’t.

Reach out today to book your session and give yourself one less thing to regret later.

A good photographer takes beautiful photos… but a great one knows how to make your children feel completely safe to be themselves.

The shy child who needs a little extra time…
The wild toddler who wants to run instead of sit still…
The sensitive kid who clings to mum for the first fifteen minutes…

None of those things are problems to the right photographer.

Because family photos are never really about perfectly behaved children or everyone looking at the camera at the same time. They’re about preserving your family as you are in this season… and your kids deserve to feel loved through that process, not pressured by it.

One of the biggest things I always tell mums when searching for a photographer is this… look beyond the gallery.

Pay attention to how they talk about children.
How they respond when kids are loud or unpredictable.
Whether they create an experience that feels calm, playful, and safe… or one that expects kids to perform.

The photos matter, of course.
But the way your children feel during them matters too. And honestly… that feeling shows up in every image.

Price shopping newborn photographers makes sense… until you realise you’re not comparing the same thing.

One photographer might include everything… the prep guide, a calm and baby led session, years of experience safely posing newborns, access to client wardrobe, artwork support, and someone who knows exactly how to settle a baby when things feel chaotic.

Another might offer a lower price point… but a completely different experience.

And when you’re already exhausted, recovering, and adjusting to life with a newborn… the experience matters just as much as the photos themselves.

So instead of only asking “what’s the price?” try asking…

What support do I get before the session?
How experienced are they with newborns?
Will I feel comfortable and guided the whole time?
What’s included afterwards?
And most importantly… how do their images make me feel?

Because these photos become part of your family’s story long after the newborn stage has passed.

The cheapest option isn’t always the one you’ll value most later.

If you’re currently looking for a newborn photographer… save this as a reminder of what’s actually worth comparing 🤍

Here’s how I help new mums feel confident at their sessions…

Especially when you’re walking in with a newborn and a busy toddler boy who doesn’t want to sit still for two seconds.

I don’t expect your kids to behave perfectly.

Your session is relaxed from the beginning. We take our time, follow your toddler’s lead when we need to, and I guide you through everything so you never feel awkward or unsure.

You don’t need to worry about your toddler running around.
You don’t need to stress if baby needs feeding.
You don’t need to show up feeling perfectly put together.

I’ve got you.

The photos you’ll love most usually aren’t the perfectly posed ones anyway… they’re the cuddles, the little moments in between, your toddler holding onto you, the way your baby settles in your arms.

That’s what matters most.

I’m a specialist motherhood photographer… and if you’re an exhausted new mum, there’s something you need to understand about capturing your new baby.

You probably think you’ll get all these beautiful photos on your phone…

But then newborn life happens.

You’re exhausted.
You’re recovering.
You’re barely sleeping.
And your camera roll ends up filled with rushed photos taken in bad lighting at 2am.

Hundreds of photos…
But barely any that actually tell the story of this season.

Barely any with you in them.

And before you realise it… your baby has already changed.

The tiny stretches.
The sleepy cuddles.
The way they curled perfectly into your chest.

It all disappears so much faster than you expect.

That’s why newborn photography matters.

Not because you need everything to look perfect… but because you deserve to remember what this felt like.

I’m Cass… an award winning newborn photographer with 11 years of experience helping mums preserve these early days in a way that feels calm, natural, and real.

One of the biggest reasons parents put off booking a newborn session?

“We’d love photos… but our toddler won’t sit still.” 🤍

And honestly?
I expect that.

Little kids are not supposed to sit perfectly, smile on command, and act like tiny robots for an hour.

They’re meant to wiggle.
Be curious.
Need snack breaks.
Want cuddles halfway through.
And sometimes completely ignore every adult in the room 😅

That’s why my sessions are never about forcing perfection.

The magic usually happens in the in-between moments — the cuddles, the giggles, the way your toddler gently pats the baby for two seconds before running off again.

Those moments are REAL.
And years from now, they’ll mean so much more than perfectly posed smiles.

So if fear of your little ones “not cooperating” has been stopping you from booking… please know you are absolutely not alone

Unpopular opinion:
Some of us feel more like ourselves behind the camera than in front of it 🤍

Give me a camera in my hands, a golden sunset, a cuddly newborn or a chaotic family with little kids running everywhere… and I’m completely in my comfort zone.

Because this is the thing I love most — freezing the moments mums are usually too busy to notice while they’re living them.

The tiny hand wrapped around yours.
The way your baby fits perfectly on your chest.
The laughter in between the “everyone look here!” moments.

I know how quickly these seasons pass, and being trusted to capture them is something I never take for granted.

Photography was never just about pretty pictures for me.
It’s about preserving love in its most honest form.

And honestly?
There’s nowhere else I’d rather be than behind my camera, documenting the beautiful chaos of family life 🤍

Tell me — are you someone who loves being in front of the camera, or do you feel more comfortable behind it too?
