Okay, it is the 1st of September. 😳
What the actual?! Can someone please tell me where August went? Because honestly, I have absolutely no idea.

A lot of this year has felt a little up and down. There has been busy spurts, then really quiet periods. A couple of months ago I was talking to some photographer friends saying, there wasn't much coming up. And then suddenly… BOOM. August happened.

Apparently, everybody’s babies decided to either come early or late and all arrive at once 😂 which was honestly super exciting and so beautiful, but also HUGE!

I’ve got another two weeks of pretty full on shooting ahead, all while chipping away at the editing pile. I currently have 17 galleries from August 🤯. And yes, I may have just thrown up in my mouth a little bit when I said that. 😂😂

But not to fear, I’m getting there! I’m working my way through them and slowly but surely getting on top of everything. My normal turnaround time is usually around 2–3 weeks, but at the moment it’s probably sitting closer to 3–4 weeks while I catch up. Just that little bit longer, and I’m so grateful for your patience. 🤍

But wow, what a month. I am, as always, so incredibly grateful to every single one of you who chooses me and welcomes me into your homes and your families to capture these really special moments. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

The weather is warming up, and there is so much exciting stuff planned ahead.

Happy first day of spring, everybody! 🌷🤍

On this last day of World Breast Feeding week 2026, I'm celebrating every mum and every feeding journey. Whether it lasted days, months or years. Whether it was breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, donor milk, or another story altogether.

However your baby was fed, I hope you know how amazing you are 💛

Breastfeeding is so much more than feeding a baby.

It's comfort, connection, sacrifice, and love. Sometimes, it's tears, exhaustion, and really hard work.

This World Breastfeeding Week, I'm celebrating every mum's journey. Whether it lasted days, months, years, or didn't go the way she hoped 🤍

A place that already holds your family's story.

The hallway where little feet race each morning. The lounge where everyone piles in for cuddles. The backyard where the kids have spent endless afternoons making memories and playing together.

In home sessions have no pressure to perform or worry about getting everyone to the perfect location. It's a place where the kids feel safe, relaxed and most like themselves.

I have a limited amount of weekend sessions left for the year. Reach out to secure your date 🤍

Last night we went to the movies to see the new Spider Man. We have all been very excited and there had been lots of chat leading up to it.

It got me thinking. Am I actually a Spider Man fan? Or do I just love what Spider Man has come to represent?

Twenty years ago, it was Tobey Maguire and a little boy who refused to take his Spider Man suit off. Thomas lived in it, slept in it, threw webs everywhere, and we watched that movie so many times I could probably still recite it word for word.

Before long, there wasn't just one, but three little boys racing around the house in Spider Man suits, saving the world, as well as my beautiful girl, usually wearing a princess dress and plastic high heels throwing webs with her brothers.

Along came the Andrew Garfield years. The kids were getting older. The movies changed, and so did they.

Then Tom Holland arrived, and suddenly it was a whole new chapter. More family movie nights, more conversations and more memories being made.

When No Way Home came out and all three Spider Men stepped through those portals, I cried like a baby. Not because they were three Spider men (though that was pretty cool) but there were three different seasons of my children's lives. Three different versions of me as their mum and 20 years of memories. It's funny how a movie can become a time capsule.

So, I'm not sure if I'm a Spider man fan or just the biggest fan of my kids. Either way, the new movie is great, the choc tops were delicious, we were all together and I got to sit next to my son 20 years later, still watching the Amazing Spider Man ❤

My heart is so happy for these two 🤎

Your little one is already surrounded by so much love, and I know you're going to be the most incredible parents.

Thank you for letting me capture these precious moments before everything changes. What an honour x

I think every photographer needs a creative shoot every now and then.
The kind where there's no pressure or expectations.

There's something really special about stepping outside of what you normally shoot. Trying a different style, shooting somewhere you've been wanting to use forever, or simply creating because you've got an idea you can't stop thinking about.

This shoot was exactly that.

I finally got to meet the lovely Briony from These Years Photography, and we headed to Dive Bar in Camden with the most amazing couple.

We laughed, played with light, tried different ideas, and just had the best couple of hours. It was moody, fun, a little bit sexy, a bit cool, and honestly, just so good for the creative soul.

These shoots always remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

Here's a few of my favourites 🖤

A little moment today stayed with me.

After this evenings shoot, I stopped to pick up dinner for the family. As I was leaving my arms were completely full with pizzas, drinks, garlic bread. I was trying to wrestle a heavy door open with my elbow, my foot, then eventually my bum. It was almost comical.

A mum and her teenage daughter were standing nearby. They watched, but they didn't offer to help.

And here's the thing, this isn't about judging them. I have no idea what kind of day that mum had. She could have been exhausted, overwhelmed or carrying something really heavy. I get that. We never truly know what someone else is walking through.

But as I got back to my car, I realised I wasn't thinking about the door. I was thinking about the daughter.

Our children are always watching us. They're learning how we speak to people, how we respond to strangers, and how we show kindness in the smallest, most ordinary moments.

Kindness isn't just something we tell our children about. It's something we show them.

Hold the door.

Offer a hand.

Smile.

Say please and thank you.

Life feels expensive in pretty much every way these days, but kindness is still free. So let's spread it generously 🖤
