German-Hungarian couple Mia and Andris brought their wedding from Berlin to a hidden garden near Lake Balaton.

All they wanted was a quiet day in nature, spent with their closest friends and family, without any distractions.

They shared their vows in each other’s language — one of the sweetest things we’ve ever heard — and felt completely free to be themselves throughout the day.

We’re grateful to have been part of their story and to witness all the love and laughter they shared.

The third child of the Nagy family also arrived in spring, exactly two years after her brother and four years after her sister. We took the opportunity to visit them shortly after the youngest arrived, and around the time of the birthdays.

The magic of photographing families at home is that everyone feels truly comfortable. There is no tension caused by the photo session; carefree play begins quickly, while countless personal details surround us.

In moments like these, the photographs become more than just beautiful images of a family — they turn into honest memories of the warmth of your home and the small moments that shape childhood.

Helyszínszemlét tartottunk a hétvégi gödöllői családi fotózásokhoz. Bár itt lakunk a szomszédban, mégis olyan jó megállni és nézni, ahogy zöldbe borul a táj.

Ránézve ezekre a felvételekre, most hirtelen az az érzésünk, mintha egy díszletet néznénk, amiből hiányzik valami: az emberek, a családok, a történetek. Hiányoztok belőle Ti, akiknek a történetéhez mindez hátteret ad. Alig várjuk a találkozást.

Nem számít, hogy Ausztráliában élsz és szörfözöl (ahogy Zsófi), vagy Ausztriában élsz és snowboardozol (ahogy Balázs), ha anyának szülinapja van, akkor otthon a helyed.

És mi más kötné össze a magyarokat, mint a paprikás-krumpli, tejföllel és kenyérrel?

Zsófiék azt szerették volna, ha ez az alkalom épp úgy telik, ahogy mindig szokott, amikor évente hazalátogatnak: nyugisan, egyszerűen és őszintén.

Beszélgettünk, kávéztunk, ebédeltünk, megint kávéztunk és a kutyákkal is elmentünk sétálni. Na meg persze a régi fotók is előkerültek, csak hogy fény derüljön néhány elfeledett rejtélyre.

Az igazi családi fotók rólatok szólnak—és bár fotósként legszívesebben mindent megosztanánk, a történetek gyakran sokkal személyesebbek ennél.
