to the animals of Vienna at the beginning of the month. I really had a blast photographing there. I took two camera bodies and quite a few lenses, but in the end I only used the Sony A9ii with the 300mm 2.8, sometimes with the the 1.4 or the 2.0 teleconverter.

We all need to cool down a bit this weekend, don’t we? So here are some landscape shots I took during my recent trip to Svalbard.

We were able to get close to a walrus colony in Svalbard for these shots. We took our time and approached them slowly. Two walruses in the water came up to check us out, the others couldn’t hardly be bothered to even raise their head. One of many great memories from my first trip there.
