The time is come for a big change and to finish with a chapter in my life which has accompanied me over the last 3-4 years. My photographic work was completely focused on a very creative group of musicians, actors, singers, ect.

I have now decided to make a big break. Energy and time are the most important factors to do the work which I have done over the last years. But I haven't both of them in the moment.

I met so many inspiring people from all over the world and every single artist was worth to work and to knowing them. You all are very great artists and people with a great soul and a big heart. I'm sure that I will meet some of you in the future again. But without a camera.

The homepage will be closed in the next months. My Facebook and Instagram accounts will remain online until further notice.

It was a great time that I would never want to miss.

The making of oboe reeds is very tricky and needs an exactly work. Patience and sense is what you need for a perfect reed what is doing a good job for the musician who is playing the oboe!🎶

Practicing makes not really fun everytime! 😮‍💨

Practicing could be sometimes very exhausting😮‍💨.

Every musician is playing an instrument with the whole body. It is comparable to a competitive athlete who regularly has to deliver peak performances!

That leads to the fact that some musicians has to visit physiotherapist regularly so that they are able to do their passion!

A little story about the big dream of musicians: traveling and especially with instruments!

For other people it sounds like a dream. Seeing the world and you can do what you love!

Something what every musician is doing during the musician life is traveling! Because not every venue is direct at the home city or town.

And again something what the audience not really see. Spending a lot of time in trains, cars, planes. Waiting times at airports, train stations, ect.

The challenges aren’t starting just at places far away. Traveling with music instruments for example is very special. And the using of local public transportation in a city like Vienna could be also very challenging…

…with double bass!

During the last weeks of this year I have heard different stories. Stories about pressure! Stories about hard work! Stories about a big void! Stories about sleepless nights with fear! Stories about restless!
Stories about big dreams!

We all consume these dreams without knowing how they feel. We see only the smiling and happy faces on stages. But not the faces if the curtain is fallen.

Mental health is something which is getting more and more popular in our world. But not popular enough.

Especially the mental health of musicians is something what need more attention!

Musicians are the conductors between music and the public. When musicians come to auditions, and especially when people are backstage. They don't know who you are, they only hear sound. All musicians can play the same fragment from the piece. But everyone plays differently, it doesn't happen the same way, because the music is alive. That's the difficulty, that the musician has only one moment, one second to pe*****te into the soul of each listener, no matter who this person is.
