We are devastated to announce the passing of our father, husband, brother and dear friend Andy Grudko. He passed way in a beautiful hospice in Houghton just before 10pm on Tuesday the 25th of March 2025 after a short but intense battle with stage 4 skin cancer.

Andy is already so missed by so many. We have been so comforted by all of the amazing stories and tributes for Andy from all over the world from so many people who loved and respected him dearly.

Andy is not in pain anymore. His legacy and the stories of the incredibly full life that he lived will live on through his wife, two daughters, sister and everyone who knew him.

Rest in peace Andy. We love you ❤️

Kevin of Hey Abbott's personal branding photoshoot is up on the blog!

I met Kevin through the BNI Intrepid, Cape Town, WC, South Africa (Business Networking International) chapter that I am a part of. Kevin is a professional emcee and voice over artist who can also sing Sinatra-style swing songs that was in need of some professional photographs to elevate his brand. Kevin's brief was "Daniel Craig getting his Bond headshots". I think we nailed it. What do you think?

I joined BNI (Business Networking International) in January 2024 and it has been an eye opening and expansive journey. These are some of my favourite portraits that I have taken of some of the members in the BNI Southern Suburbs chapter and of the Regional Team here in Cape Town.

✨ You decide whether it will be a portrait, couple, maternity, self-love or bo***ir photoshoot. Whether it’s for you, you and a partner, friend or family member, or even if it’s a gift for a loved one, this is the perfect gift to show your love this Valentine’s Day ❤️

💃🏻 White, red and black are the theme for the day. Wear any outfit that makes you feel good. Feel free to bring props if you like. There will be a make-up artist on hand to make you feel your best.

What’s included:

🥰 20 minute photoshoot in studio in Woodstock, CT.
🥰 10 edited images
🥰 Light make-up (NB: Hair NOT included. Please arrive with hair already done).

+Any bo***ir style photos will not be posted without consent from you, including a release form stating what kind of sharing permissions agreed to.

+ More images can be purchased after the session, should you want more than 10 images from the day. This will be at an additional cost of R165.00 per photo or R350.00 p/hr for post production time.

+Time slots start on the hour. Plan ahead and arrive early. Late arrivals will eat into your shooting time.

+ A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your booking.

Today I am so grateful to have these photos with my parents.

Ironically, it took me 16 years of being a professional photographer to get them in studio. It’s so easy to make excuses and to let life carry us away. I am here to remind you to take the damn photos. You will never regret having frozen that moment in time. And then print the photos so that you can see them every day.

We live in a world of technology where so much never sees the light of day. Make sure that doesn’t happen to your special memories. Print at least one photo from every photoshoot that you do so that you can be reminded of that person, moment or achievement every day.
