When 3 Verse, the Advertising Agency that "Makes Great S**T Happen" asked me to photograph the Radio Presenters for KFM … I was stoked, to say the least!

In some ways, I felt disadvantaged as I didn’t know many of the Radio Presenters that well,my son had met Carl Wastie at an International Super 7 Rugby game and even he knew who Carl Wastie was.

My brief was to share the fun side of the Presenters, to make a Portrait that captures the energy they share with their listeners daily. We shot at Primedia in Green Point in June 2023.

It was amazing to meet and work with these amazing professionals who fully understand the value of what a good image does for them.

It was a joy working with the 3 Verse Creatives,
a big thank you to the team and the KFM Squad!

HELP ... my car just broke down in the Karoo!!!

Are we still into black and white photography ?

These images were taken on a Tracker TVC in Dec 2021, Production was handled by Patriot Films, this particular scene was shot in the Tankwa Karoo.
Several of these images were never used in the TVC and I shot them as BTS moments.

…. Ladysmith Black Mambazo …
Images were photographed for Presidential Shirts in 2019, pre COVID days.. We flew to Durban and shot this in the Playhouse Theatre. This was one of those double bonus jobs, not only were we paid to shoot them, but they sang for us too, thank you Ladysmith Black Mambazo ✨
