Walking into forever …

Tapiwa & Tafadzwa ‘s faith was such a centre point to their wedding ceremony. Being a PK ( preacher’s kid) Tapiwa’s whole being shines with a glow of joy and faith that is so deeply rooted in who she is as a person. It envelops you in a warm embrace anytime you are around her.

May God continue to bless their marriage and may He guide them through this life remembering these blessed moments 🌷🙏🏻🌷

Tapiwa & Tafadzwa | Getting Ready

Walking in the room to big smiles from bride Tapiwa it made for chill start to an exciting day.

We were half way through the bridal prep, all details captured and just waiting on the last make up touches before doing robe photos when suddenly the fire alarm went off. Being on the 17th floor with 8 bridesmaids, two content creators, a mua, mother of the bride , granny , two aunts and the bride; is not an easy evacuation.

Monalisa ( MOH) grabbed the dress , grabbed supplies and I grabbed my camera bag and the bride’s shoes and perfume. Nothing was going to stop this day from happening…

Sticking with the bride we started making our way down the fire exit, 2 floors down we realised it was just a fire drill and we could go back up to the suite. Some of the other people in the room with us had been able to go down 5/7 flights before the drill was stopped.

1. We are grateful it was just a drill. 🙏🏻 we laughed and joked afterwards.
2. It definitely got the blood pumping on the start of this special day
3. After 16 years of photographing weddings you can trust that I will stick with my brides through anything on their big day.

After that slight delay the day flowed with ease 🙏🏻

Also , let take a moment for how gorgeous Strand beach is. Completely underrated in comparison to the more popular beache if Cape Tiwn but a favourite to shoot at for me.
