“What’s the hardest part about a bo***ir shoot?”

Walking through the door! The rest is history.

So many of my clients arrive with a built up idea that this is going to be intimidating, awkward or that they “wont photograph well” WELL I’ve got news for you 😉

It’s really so laid back and comfy and the guidance is really going to put you at ease - you’re going to find yourself wondering why it has taken so long to finally do it.

You’re going to tackle the nerves to the ground within the first 10 minutes (trust me).

Theres no such thing as “not photogenic”

Winter vibes, anyone?

This is my absolute fave time of year. The air gets crisp, whales cruise the bay (I’m mildly, okay, wildly obsessed with whales), and outfits get extra cozy. It’s a dreamy season for a session.

If you’re new here, hi and welcome! You might be wondering who’s behind the lens for your bo***ir portraits and what it’s like to work with me.

I’ve been all-in on bo***ir for the last 6 years and it truly feels like my thing. I love working one-on-one, hearing your stories, and creating a space where you can be yourself.

Photoshoots, for some (myself included) can feel daunting and I really want to change that for women and provide a space where you feel confident in front of a camera.

When clients tell me they felt safe enough to be vulnerable with me, that’s the best compliment.

Random facts file:

When I’m not shooting, I’m on the padel court. It’s a big part of my life and the community of players is where I have made some amazing friends.
Green Day is my instant mood reset. It was a bucket list dream seeing them live - who else was there?🎸
I love cooking. Baking? Absolutely not. We don’t talk about baking.
I love to thrift. Clothes, home stuff, all of it!

When light leads you in the right direction 🌧️

It was doomy and gloomy Cape Town weather.

BUT thanks to this beautiful home and its gorgeous backdrop and chandelier of dreams, I leaned into the darkness (which I have really been enjoying lately) and the results spoke for themselves.

We tried a few outdoors but nothing compared to this drama.

The weather inspired me to work with low light.

Instead of stressing about it being dark, we embraced it. Grain and all! The warm lamp light was my main prop (and a last minute one at that) and everything just came together like it was meant to be 😍

I must say, I have been leaning into this aesthetic a lot more lately 🤩
