JOSHUA & SIMONÉ MX 26

Simoné & Joshua’s matric farewell shoot was something truly special. We did their session on their family farm just outside Nelspruit – the perfect setting, full of history, memories and meaning. As the afternoon rolled into evening, the day greeted us with a warm golden sunset that wrapped everything in soft light. Simoné looked beautiful and elegant in her soft pastel yellow dress, her look blending effortlessly with the golden tones of the fields and sky, while Joshua completed the picture with quiet, classic style. Together they brought a calm, romantic energy that made every frame feel honest and timeless.

Simoné and Joshua, thank you for letting me share in this chapter of your story, on the very land that helped shape who you are. May your future be as gentle, golden and full of promise as the sunset we stood under – and may you always look back on this season with full hearts and grateful smiles. Mieke & Nick absolutely owned their matric farewell shoot with a timeless, dramatic Baroque look – rich, classy and full of atmosphere. From the luxurious textures and deep tones to their elegant poise, every frame felt like a painting from another era.

Mieke was “die ander kind” in my huis, so capturing this milestone for her and Nick was incredibly special and emotional. It’s been a privilege to freeze this moment in time before they step into the next chapter of their lives.

Still smiling after the most magical weekend in Tofo, Mozambique.

What an honor to capture Michael and Yolanda’s beach wedding – not just as their photographer, but Yolanda's souls sister for almost forever.

Tofo will always hold my heart, and seeing my oldest and dearest friends say “I do” on this stretch of sand made it feel like everything had come full circle. It wasn’t only a heartfelt wedding; it was a reunion of souls who’ve shared countless memories, adventures, and chapters of life together.

Michael & Yolanda, thank you for trusting me with your day. Your love, your laughter, and the way your story drew all of us back to this special place is something I’ll carry with me forever.

“Love in the bush is wild and honest — growing freely under endless skies, where every sunset feels like it was painted just for two.”

Dylan & Sophie’s destination safari wedding at Arathusa Lodge was pure magic. Sophie floated through the African bushveld in her Galia Lahav gown, while Mother Nature wrapped them in breathtaking pink hues — a sky painted just for them.
