Sadly these Dynamic predators of the Bushveld Savanna are often labeled as the Bad ones ☹️

Spotted Hyena are a ruthless species Indeed with complex hyrachy social structure.

Very efficient hunters themselves & yet also the party crashers for most other predators in their territories across most sub-Sahara conservation areas.

This sub-adult were tolerated by adults on full patrol mode. Interesting to witness how their physical appearance 🪛 are very misleading.

Observation in their behavior makes me try and understand these often overlooked special species.

What Privelege to have them spoil us with their presence from time to time 🙏

Overnight Safaris mean that you can in most cases beat the crowds & enjoy unique moments with Wildlife behaving Wild with birds serenating the break of day 😅
