Jenni Elizabeth

Jenni Elizabeth Wedding & lifestyle photography. https://www.jennielizabeth.com/blog/kirstie-alistair/ My approach is personal. My photography style is genuine and real.

To me, your story lies within the rare moments that pass us in a heartbeat - it is concealed in the touch of a hand, a tear or a stolen kiss. I am Jenni Elizabeth, an avid wedding and portraiture photographer, neat-freak and a hopelessly romantic. I see big things in small gestures, have cried at every single one of my weddings and am absolutely in love with what I do! I call Cape Town my home but

the world my venture, as I was lucky enough to have done three international weddings so far in Greece, Italy, and Thailand. I long to capture you, your story and your being, just the way you are without any fuss or fancies! My commitment belongs to you on your shoot or big day, as I will always make sure you are at ease and enjoying this as much as I do. It is non-invasive as I see myself as a fly on the wall, overlooking a beautiful love story as it unfolds. I essentially use natural light only, as I found this tells your story in the most organic and real way, although I might setup light at your reception if needed. I pour a little bit of myself into each and every shoot I do, and I cannot wait to capture and share your story in the most genuine way! If you would like to use my services, please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]

Fourteen years behind the camera, and I split my work two ways: people, and the spaces they live in. Weddings and families on one side. Interiors, architecture, hospitality and brand content on the other.

It’s an unusual combination. But really it’s one way of looking, pointed in two directions: how people live, and how it feels to be there.

The look doesn’t change between them: timeless, true to colour, a relaxed editorial feel. Intentional and authentic, never overworked.

Hundreds of brands, couples and families have trusted me with a day, a home, a story. Whatever’s in front of the camera, the goal is the same: imagery that feels effortless, genuine, and built to last.

Cape Town based. Always open to new collaborations, creative partnerships and meaningful connections.

Save this for when you’re planning, or send it to someone who is.

“Niche down.” “Keep your wedding work separate.”

I’ve heard it for years. It’s just never been true for me.

I spent 8 years shooting weddings before branching into interiors and lifestyle in 2019 — and the more I did both, the more I realised they’re not actually separate skills. They’re the same one, pointed at two different things: people, and the spaces that hold them.

So I stopped trying to niche down. Swipe through for why 👉

BTS to final images to “wait, let me just look at this one more time” 😅
Spent the day at Zomerlust Boutique Hotel in Paarl capturing this gorgeous hotel.
The best part is always seeing it all come together live on the site.

Loving all the slow days at home that come with maternity leave…

16/07/2026

During the past 14 years as a photographer, I don’t often get time to fully step away. Maternity leave forced that break and honestly, it was scary 😅 But necessary.

Two months without shooting and I’ve rediscovered just how much I love this. The first couple of weeks the break was heavenly.. and then of course spending precious time with my baby and family was exactly what we all needed.

But I find myself feeling that familiar pull back into my work 🤣 I’ll ease into it of course…

My next shoot is around the corner and I genuinely can’t wait to see what this season has instore for me.

A little overdue… but no less heartfelt 🤍

Between finishing the season, preparing for our little boy’s arrival, and settling into life with a newborn, I never got around to posting proper thank you’s to all my incredible clients.

So, first up - to every wedding couple who trusted me with one of the most important days of your lives this past season — thank you. It was such a privilege to tell your stories, and looking back through these photographs has reminded me just how special this season really was.

I’m so grateful for every one of you.

I’ll be back behind the camera from August, and my bookings for the rest of 2026 and throughout 2027 are now open. If you’re planning your wedding, I’d love to hear from you. 🤍

A recent project for Oak Valley Wines 🤍

One thing I always appreciate as a photographer is a client who comes to a shoot with a clear vision. Oak Valley knew exactly what they wanted to communicate, and every scene was thoughtfully planned to reflect the personality of a different wine.

The result? Less time guessing, more time creating.

A huge credit to Carissa and the team for the incredible art direction and attention to detail throughout the day. It was such a joy to bring these concepts to life together.

I’ve shared a little more about the shoot and the process behind it on the blog — link in bio.

More from my favourite summer-inspired setup coming later this year ✨

More final frames from our shoot for the newly revived in Paarl.

The use of colour throughout makes me so happy — every room & corner with its own mood, personality and little details to discover. Such a thoughtful project in every way.

Grateful to have played a small part in bringing this beautiful space to life alongside such a talented creative team 🤍
