Some photographs stay with you.

Not because they’re your favourites, but because you know you’ll never make them again.

‘New Life’ was photographed in Namibia in 2014. Since then, Adam has returned year after year, hoping the landscape, the weather and the seasons might align in the same way.

They never have.

That’s the thing about photographing wild places. You can prepare, you can wait, you can keep showing up. But some moments simply happen once.

Maybe that’s what makes New Life so special.

For the love of Africa.

Every limited edition we release is capped at 180 photographs.

Each photograph is released as a Limited Edition of just 180 artworks. Once an edition is complete, it will never be printed again.

The number 180 is inspired by the Hebrew word chai (חי), meaning life. Within every edition, numbers 1–18, 108 and 180 are reserved as Collector Editions, each carrying its own significance.

It's a quiet detail that reflects what we believe: exceptional photographs deserve to remain rare.

Discover the collection at Rabinowitz Photography Gallery, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.

Postcards from Africa: Nxai Pan.

By late afternoon, the rain had redrawn the landscape. The pans reflected a darkening sky, the horizon softened beneath the last of the storm, and the setting sun cast long bands of colour across the water.

Nxai Pan is a place shaped by weather, where the light can shift in minutes and an empty stretch of land can suddenly feel transformed. As the rain moved off into the distance, the pan settled into an unexpected calm, holding the final light of the day before darkness arrived.

The making of a photograph does not end in the field.

Once captured, each image passes through Adam’s hands again. Printed in-house in Cape Town, every work is carefully assessed for its depth, tone and detail, ensuring the final piece holds the same atmosphere as the moment itself.

We believe it is this quiet attention to detail that transforms a photograph into a finished work of art.

At first glance, ‘Metamorphosis of Light’ looks almost too vivid to be real. But there is no Photoshop, no AI and no altered background. Each photograph captures the same tree at the base of Dune 45 in Sossusvlei, photographed by Adam as the shifting light transformed the landscape throughout the day.

A study in presence, and a reminder of how much can change around us when we simply slow down long enough to notice.
