I just got back recently from visiting family in Colorado Springs 🌄 While I was there I photographed a maternity session for my sweet cousin Lauren & her husband Michael who are expecting. We took photos at Palmer Park & Garden of the Gods 🧡 It was nothing short of awe-inspiring. The beauty of the Colorado landscape is undeniable, as is the love between these two. Lauren has always been incredibly dear to me, so I was absolutely chuffed to be able to share in this special & momentous chapter in her life. Here are a few images of our time together. I've known Heather since she was 5, so the fact we are still friends after all this time warms my heart so much. I've had the pleasure of photographing her maternity sessions, cake smashes, birthday parties & family portraits throughout the years. Being a successful small business owner in Canton CT (Escape Hair Salon) has kept her very busy, so the fact we were able to do this mini session this past October was a miracle, lol 😆 Look at the love between her & her daughters Julia and Sophia. It radiates! ☀️

One of the things I really appreciate about my daughter is that she's always up for a little photo adventure -- even in the middle of a snow flurry! ❄️ Hazel loves the cold weather so this was the perfect opportunity to grab some pics. Look at my Nordic child! 💜
