I’m not sure who loved this cake by more, the birthday boy or his pup. 10/10 would recommend including your dog and their cakes.

Having a late night working on album and frame orders so I just had to share a few images from a recent session. Really excited to see their final custom framed print!!

Mom’s dress, big sister’s dress, and brother’s pants are all from the client closet.

Summer calendar is now open. We generally recommend booking at least 2 months in advance.

Heirloom portraits are also perfect for first communion portraits. Have your child wear their dress or suit for their portraits instead of the traditional smocked outfits!

I’ve been quiet here lately, my heart has been feeling heavy recently. On top of that, I’ve had a few injuries, my dog ate a bowl of grapes, snow days, illnesses (that I and my kids had), ice dam leaks, broken dishwasher, the list goes on.

They slowed me down so I thank you for your patience! I can’t wait to host the next heirloom event. I do need your help deciding on a date. They’ll either be on March 29th or May 3rd. Vote below or head to my stories where I’ll need help making other decisions.

Elizabeth Park today looked nothing like this. ❄️

I was there for headshots, and it was cold, icy, and muddy. The complete opposite of these light-filled, joyful portraits from warmer days (and when I say warmer these were taken at the end of a heat wave!). It is always funny how quickly we forget just how magical this park becomes once spring arrives.

If you are dreaming of fresh greens, blooming gardens, and portraits that feel effortless, now is the time to plan ahead. Spring sessions at Elizabeth Park are booking now, and the Rose Garden in June is always a favorite for a reason.

The little details and privacy.

I love adding these tiny details to a newborn session’s gallery. So much changes in a month, in a year. From their lips (that sometimes have that blister from nursing), to the fuzzy hair on their ears, to their eyelashes, and more. I want you to savor in the little things.

They’re also great because they allow you share images of them virtually without worrying about their privacy. I take privacy very seriously and won’t share identifiable images when parents request it.

And a last note, these also make for a beautiful gallery wall. Imagine a section of your nursery, with these matted and framed completely custom to your preferences. I can help make that happen for you.

What’s something that you miss from when your kids were newborns? For me, I miss my older daughter’s deep Cupid’s bow and my younger daughter’s ear tag we had surgically removed (and yes, I photographed that ear tag the morning of her surgery 😅)
