This is the place they got engaged, and when they told me they wanted to come back here for their engagement photos, I was instantly so excited. Getting to capture this season of their lives at the Barkhamsted Reservoir is just so special.
I always say engagement sessions aren’t about being “perfect” in front of the camera. They’re about you two—the way you laugh together, the way you naturally lean into each other, the little in-between moments that you don’t even realize are happening. My job? Just to guide you a little, help you relax, and remind you to breathe it all in. I’ll give you prompts, and poses but it’s really about just having fun!
Because honestly… the best photos come when you let go.
When you laugh mid-pose.
When you take a second, look at each other, and remember why you’re here in the first place.
That’s what I love most about sessions like this. It’s not just about capturing what your love looks like—it’s about capturing what it feels like.
So we walk, we talk, we laugh a lot… and somewhere in between all of that, the magic just happens ✨
