You never know what the Great Blue Heron is going to provide for entertainment!
This morning it was a huge fishing expedition, during which he caught one in the water but couldn't handle the size of the fish! So the heron swam to the rocks, almost lost the fish twice and gulped it down in one fell swoop!
Heron one, fish zero.
I had time to go back inside and grab my camera, so check for the photos next post!

This summer and fall will be a new and different time for our studio, as we will transition to more outdoor portraits and using our space along the Farmington River near Collinsville, Connecticut more than our Farmington studio location in Bridge Healing Arts Center.
