It was so sweet to have intentional time to take photos and get all the jitters out of the way…then go home and REST before the ceremony and party later. This might be my new favorite wedding timeline ☺️

The Padgett’s are the best of the best. Friends that have become family. They have encouraged us in parenthood more than I ever saw coming. Listening ears all hours of the day, generous with their time and home, and not to mention the incredible thrift finds for lil Joseph! We love them so much that we’re headed to the 2028 Olympics together!! YEEHAW!
Let’s start scheming up year 11! :)

a moment for black & white 🖤

I honestly can’t remember the first time I met Ally, but we’ve been all smiles and giggles since the beginning. UNCW was such a formative time and having friends that you knew were in your corner, even if you weren’t always in the same friends circle really means a lot!

I saw her name on our wedding reception guest book (it’s a map hanging on our wall) and just smiled thinking about how we have little ones not far from each other now! What a gift! I can’t believe little Lena girl is one and I loved capturing these memories together!

Wilmington Dry Needling is your go-to for muscle recovery, headache relief, and all things dry needling! It’s so fun to see your friends chase their dreams and use their expertise to help others!
I loved being able to take some website & branding photos for Dr. Nicole and giggle our way through alllll the things!
I can speak first hand how dry needling helped me recover post-partum, releasing really tough tension in my back and shoulders! I’ve seen how it’s improved athletic performance for friends, and also relieve really tough migraines and headaches. Her concierge dry needling biz is going to be an amazing asset alongside the work she’s already doing!

a little treasure hunt with the cousins never hurt anybody!

Once we got the posed photos taken care of, it was time to PLAY! I’m a firm believer in mixing in both posed and candids when we have time during a full session. I had a blast with this cousin crew recently in Oak Island— they showed me their survivor fort, the “deer” they caught for dinner (aka a piece of driftwood), their “bunker” to protect from the bad guys (the sand shelf from high tide) and we had to go for a lil treasure hunt at the end!

It’s honestly been the sweetest summer capturing growing families! From engagement, to wedding, to their first baby… I’m always honored to be alongside the journey!

Cheering on my friends is my favorite thing to do! When Trevor asked if we could take a few photos around campus for a top secret project, I knew we were in for a good time! A big congratulations to .alumni distinguished alumni of the year!
