Ever wonder why some sneak peeks hit my stories faster than others? It simply means that image went straight from vision → camera → phone → post.

No editing. No polishing. And, probably most importantly, me having an ounce of energy left to head to the socials.

The moral of this story is two-fold:

1st fold: If you don’t see a sneak peek immediately, I still love you AND your images. I was probably just tired or pulled in another direction after your session… usually toward my pillow.

2nd fold: If you’re a new or budding photographer, learn to take photos you’re proud to show your clients SOOC (straight out of camera).

Lighting is your BFF. Learn to harness it, shape it, and yes… sometimes create it. It’s the cheapest—and most fun—way to take your images from blah to “holy fu;&ing sh1t… I JUST TOOK THAT?!”

My pillow is currently calling my name, so I must sign off. But one last FYI: of course I edit all your images before they land in your hands. I just really strive to create the magic before I ever open my computer.

And if you’ve ever heard me say “trust me” while I’m running around like a chicken with my head cut off… now you know. I saw the light. I was baptized…no, I will not digress!!!

Scarlett or Steph? Steph or Scarlett?

2nd senior sesh for the Satrom girls in the books and their gorgeous hair and amazing height once again left me feeling like a short bald pancake. :-)

Fingers crossed I grow 7 inches before the 3rd one is ready for pictures or I will have to remember a stool.

This girl's Mama and I went to college together and the math just ain't mathing. If we were in college 7 years ago and we did not have kids at that time....how could we possibly have kids in college and heading to college soon!?!
