Some clients become friends. Rachel somehow skipped that step and went straight to family. 😂❤️

Years ago she hired me as her photographer. Now we go to happy hours, send each other entirely too many reels, and talk almost every day.

If you know Rachel, you know. She's hilarious, feisty (the fun kind), ridiculously loyal, and somehow manages to compliment every person she meets. She has the biggest heart and would give you the shirt off her back without thinking twice.

And Zach? He just gets her. The way these two interact is my favorite thing. No forced romance. No cheesy stuff. They genuinely like each other, which honestly feels like a pretty solid foundation for marriage. 😂

Watching one of my favorite humans marry her favorite human was such an honor.

Now excuse me while I patiently wait for future anniversaries, future photoshoots, and someday, future tiny humans for me to photograph too. No pressure, Rachel and Zach. 😏📸🤍

Love you guys. Forever grateful you trusted me with this day. 🥹✨

P.S. The last photo was taken right before the ceremony started. If you think that arch looks a little stressed, just know the wind was doing its absolute best to become a third wheel. 😂🌬️

Dani + Taylor | 6.5.26 | The Atrium, Solon Springs, WI ✨

The first half of the day was thunderstorms, gray skies, and me aggressively refreshing the weather app like I personally know the guy in charge of the clouds. 😅 I had been praying for a golden hour all day, and somehow we got one of the prettiest sunsets imaginable.

But honestly, the weather wasn't what made this day so special.

There was so much love, emotion, laughter, and happy tears from beginning to end. And Dani? An absolute knockout of a bride. Seriously. Every time I turned around I was like, "Excuse me ma'am, can you stop being so pretty for two seconds?" 🤍

Photographing weddings is one of my favorite things in life, but this one hit a little differently.

I was there the night these two met. I watched their story begin, spent countless nights as roomies sitting around the kitchen talking about life and dreaming about the future, and made so many memories with them before they packed up and moved to the East Coast.

So naturally, when Taylor got emotional during their first look, I had to do what any professional photographer would do: hide behind my camera and pretend I was adjusting settings while trying not to cry. 😂

Being trusted to photograph your wedding day is always an honor. Being trusted to photograph one of your best friend's wedding days? That's a whole different level.

Dani, thank you for letting me third-wheel your love story for all these years and for trusting me with the biggest day of your lives. It means more than you'll ever know. ❤️🥹✨

(Also shoutout to the weather for finally getting its act together.) ☀️😂

Sarah + Daniel 🤍

You know those couples where you barely have to give any direction because they're already laughing, cuddling, and making each other smile the entire time?

Yeah. That's Sarah and Daniel. 😂

This session felt less like work and more like I was just third-wheeling their date night with a camera. Their connection is so natural, so easy, and SO much fun to photograph.

Also, can we talk about how they understood the assignment with these outfits?! 😍

Needless to say, I'm already excited for their wedding next year. If their engagement session was this effortless, their wedding day is going to be an absolute dream. 🤍✨

(And yes, I took approximately 4,372 photos of them laughing because I physically could not stop myself.) 📸😂

can we talk about prom for a second??

because WHY does it look like a red carpet event now (but i'm here for it)

back in my day (wow i just aged myself)
we took photos on someone’s staircase
with a disposable camera
and someone’s mom yelling “ONE MORE JUST IN CASE”

just vibes

and now???
full sessions, coordinated fits, walking like main characters

honestly obsessed. 10/10 would redo prom just for the photos

oh and scroll to the end for the moms recreating it… truly the best part 😭
