Some of the best sessions happen when the plans fall apart 🎡
Aden’s been a friend of my husband and me since college, so when he and Maria asked me to photograph their engagement, we didn’t think twice. We packed the car and made the four-hour drive to Syracuse a few weeks later.
When our plan A for a sailboat session didn’t pan out, running around the New York State Fair became our plan B instead. Fairground lights, an overcast golden hour, and the hum of a state fair in late summer. Somewhere in the middle of it, tangled up on a carousel horse, laughing mid-kiss on the Ferris wheel, w**e slushies in hand, Aden and Maria got engagement photos that feel more like a really good night out than a photoshoot.
