An amazing view from the top of Hawks Hill in California! We stumbled upon this beautiful place after crossing the Gold Gate Bridge! We saw a sign that said Hawks Hill, so we decided to follow the long steep road up the mountain and came to a small parking lot. We then hopped on the trail and of course there was a little walking involved, but it was worth every step.

This is definitely one of my favorite wildlife shots that I captured a few weeks ago. Two immature Great Horned Owls perched a tree branch during a beautiful spring day.

Cape Cod has always been one of my favorite vacation spots. After all these years, it still never disappoints. This particular beach is one of the best spots on the cape to catch the sunset. A few years back we decided to try and catch the sunset last minute after dinner, not realizing how beautiful it was going to be. I rushed to setup my equipment just before the sun disappeared!

Exploring the woods in Vermont, listening carefully I could hear running water in the distance. Walking closer I realized that I had found a hidden waterfall! I was very excited knowing that I had found this beautiful spot. On my way out I had stopped a local farmer has he was chopping wood. I told him that I had found the waterfall and asked him if it had a name. He told me that the waterfall has been there for his entire life, and as a kid he would play in it on a hot summer day. He also mentioned that it did not have a name making it the "The Hidden Waterfall."
