Fall petite sessions are coming!

20 minutes in a beautiful Walnut Creek garden.

A few details:

• Limited sessions available due to my permitted time slot
• Best for families of 6 or fewer
• No pets allowed by the garden rules (and honestly… this one makes me very sad)

If this would is your first time working with me, a petite session may not always be the best fit. Twenty minutes goes by FAST, and some little ones need a bit of time to warm up and get comfortable with a new person and camera. If you think your kiddos might need a little more time, I do have full sessions available this fall, too. 🤎

I’m getting ready for a full day of sports and sideline snacks, and I can’t help but miss these quiet newborn days a little extra today. 🤍

There’s just something about slowing down for those first few weeks. Even when at times they feel so hard. I love what I do so much, and I think I’ll always miss this stage when I’m knee-deep in the busy years of parenting my own kids.

Maybe that’s part of why I love photographing it so much. 🤍

When this sweet family told me they would be delivering at Stanford all the way from Hawaii I was so honored they asked me to document this new chapter for their family.

In a world where short form videos are all the rage there truly is nothing like photographs that can propel us back into a moment in time.

When I leave your family after a session I often still think of you and wonder how you are all doing. I get to weave a little part of myself (and you all into me) with every session I photograph. It never stops feeling special 🩷

Getting to photograph these two precious babies was such an honor. There is something so incredibly special about watching a family fall in love twice over. Tiny fingers, sleepy stretches and two beautiful little humans who are already so loved.

These early days are a blur. They’re exhausting and beautiful all at once. I’m always so grateful when families trust me to preserve them exactly as they are.

I find myself these days wishing I could go back in time to when my babies were little. When the hugs lasted forever, the attitude was cuter and the weight of a baby on my chest was still my everyday.

It goes so slow. It goes so fast. And yet what I would give to live those slow days once again even if only for a fleeting moment.
