There’s something about a backyard at twilight that completely changes the way you see a property.

This West Sacramento Airbnb was made for outdoor living — from dinner under the string lights and evenings around the fire pit to a full outdoor kitchen and plenty of spaces to sit, relax, and stay awhile.

For vacation rentals, I always want the photos to do more than document the space. I want potential guests to be able to picture themselves there. Twilight photography is especially powerful for outdoor amenities because it captures the atmosphere and experience that can ultimately help a listing stand out.

When I photograph a home, I’m not just documenting a space—I’m telling the story of how it feels to be there.

A single angle can show a beautiful living room, but multiple angles reveal the flow of the space, the connection to adjoining rooms, the natural light, architectural details, and the way a buyer will experience the home in person.
