Yesterday, we shared a video of two Sandhill Cranes walking side by side and asked what makes their relationship so special.

Today, we're sharing the fascinating story behind their bond!

These remarkable birds strengthen their relationships through elaborate dances, synchronized calls, and shared responsibilities when raising their young.

Every creation has a story behind it, and this one is especially close to our hearts. ❤️

When we created A Great Day for Pond Play!, we wanted to share more than a charming story about the animals who call the pond home.

We wanted to remind children that even the smallest act of kindness can make a meaningful difference in someone's day.

Through the adventures of Spoonie, Banjo Bill, and their pond friends, we hope to inspire young readers to embrace friendship, show compassion, and choose kindness.

And there's another special connection to Benevolent Mission: our love of real wildlife and the wonderful creatures we encounter in nature. 🦆🌿

🦅 A COOPER'S HAWK WITH AN UNEXPECTED MEAL!

Sometimes the most fascinating wildlife encounters happen right in front of us—if we take the time to look closely. 🌿

When we first observed this Cooper's Hawk, we weren't entirely sure what we were witnessing. But a closer look revealed something fascinating about this remarkable bird of prey!

Cooper's Hawks are well known for hunting other birds, but their diet can also include small mammals.

It's encounters like these that remind us how much there is to discover in the natural world.

At Benevolent Mission, we believe curiosity is where learning begins. Every wildlife encounter offers an opportunity to observe, ask questions, and discover something new.

We don't always know where life will lead us.

There are unexpected turns, unanswered questions, and moments when the road ahead seems uncertain.

But faith reminds us that we don't need to see the entire journey to take the next step.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

Just as a pathway leads us toward new discoveries in nature, our journey through life invites us to trust God's wisdom, timing, and direction.

We may not always understand where He is leading us, but we can move forward knowing we never walk alone.

Faith isn't about seeing the entire path. It's about trusting the One who leads us. ❤️

The brilliant red cardinal (my favorite bird) represents joy, hope, and the beauty found in even the coldest seasons. Perched among snow-covered evergreen branches, he reminds us that God's creation continues to offer moments of wonder.

The towering evergreens symbolize enduring faith and everlasting life, while the snow-covered mountains and peaceful waters reflect the majesty and tranquility of the natural world.

Inspired by the angels' announcement of Christ's birth in Luke 2:14, this familiar Christmas message reminds us of the greatest gift of the season—Jesus Christ, who came to bring hope, love, and peace to the world.
