What did y'all do this weekend? I had to take yesterday "off" to recoup from mine. 🤣

I spent Saturday afternoon at Fort Vancouver at my booth at the expo for Sunset 5k. Then I did a quick car change before heading to the Train concert in Ridgefield... where I was then up way too late dancing and singing HARD before heading home to bed for an EARLY wake up to get BACK to the fort for the expo for the marathon and half marathon on Sunday morning. lol Caffeine was 100% necessary.... as was my day "off" lying around on the couch on Monday. 🤣

It was an amazing weekend, though! My 90s kid heart was FULL after Saturday night's concert... I can't wait to see the venue line up for next summer!

What it something special to you (or your significant other) that you might use during a session with me? Extra bonus points for out of the box ideas! 😁

A few weeks back I photographed a client with her super s3xy Mustang--no release, so I'm not able to share photos from that session, but it DID remind me of this set that I took a couple of years back that was a bunch of fun with, too!

I LOVE incorporating personal items into my sessions to customized the experience. Usually it's a special piece of jewelry or a clothing item... but every now and then someone reaches out wanting to utilize something that is outside of the box (and literally outside of my studio. lol).

This is your annual reminder that even though I don't advertise it, I DO offer senior and family photo sessions and my calendar is open for the fall season!

Just a reminder for all of you with new high school SENIORS heading out the door this week.... photos for the yearbook are usually due in/around NOVEMBER and with the rain starting in mid-October (usually) don't wait on getting them booked!

What did you all do this weekend?? I want to see some photos!

It was beautiful here in Vancouver, WA and gave my husband and I an opportunity to celebrate our 16th anniversary with some outdoor adventuring in addition to a delicious dinner and private movie showing. lol

We started with a couple of hours paddling the houseboat neighborhoods of Hayden Island (thanks to Cascade Paddleboards at the ) dreaming about retirement. lol Then we headed to in downtown Vancouver for a (very yummy!) celebratory meal, and then off to a movie at the downtown Regal... in which we had the ENTIRE theater to ourselves! It was the first time in a long time that I've had that happen! lol

It was a fun date night with my husband, and a great way for us to spend some quality time together before the soccer tournament weekend started. 🤣
