I’ve had the privilege of photographing this family for several years now, and every time they choose me again, I don’t take it for granted. I get to watch their babies grow, their family change, and all those little seasons of life unfold in front of my camera.

And this time, we took their story to the Oregon Coast.

There’s something so special about this place! The wild ocean (iykyk😅), the salty air, the golden light, the kids running barefoot through the sand. It feels a little untamed and a little magical, and somehow it always reminds me how quickly these seasons pass.

These are the photographs I hope they look back on years from now and remember exactly how this season felt.

I’m so grateful for families who continue to trust me with these memories. What an honor it is to grow alongside the families I photograph. 🌊🤍

What a family session in September looks like 😍

There’s something especially meaningful about photographing families through different seasons of their lives.

I first photographed this beautiful couple for their wedding, and now I get to document them again as they step into one of their sweetest new chapters. 🥹

This is why I love family photography so much.

It’s not just about getting the perfect family photo. It’s about remembering the little things.. the way you hold your baby, the tiny hands and feet, the way your child looks at you, and all the in-between moments that you may not realize you’ll miss someday.

September is perfect if you want tall grasses, warm evenings and just a hint of fall.

I’ll be the first to admit it that I’m not very good at social media.

There are beautiful galleries sitting behind the scenes that I’m incredibly proud of such as families, motherhood sessions, intimate weddings, branding work, and so many meaningful moments that never make it to Instagram.

And over the years, I’ve realized that I actually tend to gravitate toward clients who prefer for their images to stay private. Some don’t want their photos shared online, and I completely respect that.

Your images are safe with me. 🤍

I will always choose your preference over my desire to share my work. If you ask that they not be shared, they won’t be.

Your memories belong to you, and I never want you to feel like booking a photographer means agreeing to become content.

So if I’ve been a little quiet around here, I just wanted to pop in and say…

I’m still here.

Still photographing beautiful people. Still creating work I’m incredibly proud of. Still grateful for every family, couple, and business owner who trusts me to capture something meaningful.

So many incredible galleries to share, I honestly don’t even know where to start. 😭

April and May have been so full in the best way and I have felt so fulfilled doing what I love after a very needed lengthy maternity leave.

What an August wedding at Lakeside Gardens looks like 🥹🤍

Golden balsamroot and soft purple lupine fill the hillsides for just a short window typically peaking late April through early May before fading just as quickly as they arrived. It’s one of those fleeting, can’t-miss seasons that feels even more magical because it doesn’t last long.

Full sessions are more relaxed and unhurried with ample time to move, explore, and settle into it all. You will also get a complimentary 16x20 Canvas print ($250 value) of your favorite image.
