A San Francisco City Hall wedding, a little Golden Gate Bridge magic, sandy toes, and two people who made getting married look like the BEST decision ever. 😭🤍

Dalin & Tyler’s wedding day was such a good reminder that you really can make your wedding feel like YOU.

Start with a City Hall ceremony. Head to the coast. Let the wind have its moment with your veil. Take off your shoes and run around the beach like the newlyweds you are. 😂

And somewhere in between all that, pause for a second and realize…

HOLY CRAP. YOU’RE MARRIED!!!

From the iconic architecture of San Francisco City Hall to the coastal views beneath the Golden Gate Bridge, these two made the most of their San Francisco wedding adventure.

No need for a day packed with traditions just because that’s what weddings are “supposed” to look like.

Just your favorite person, a little adventure, and a whole lot of happy.

Dalin & Tyler, thank you for letting me capture this chapter. I’m still smiling over here.

A little throwback to Jane & Eric’s wedding, featuring some 35mm film photos that have me feeling ALL the feels.

A garden full of love, their favorite people gathered from all over the world, and two humans choosing to do life together.

No need for everything to be perfect. The magic is in the people who show up, the way you look at each other, and all the little moments that make the day feel like yours.

Jane & Eric, what a freaking joy it was to capture a little piece of your story. 🫶🏼

Because the best wedding photos aren’t just about how your day looked. They’re about how it felt.

POV: You found a wedding videographer who gets that your elopement isn’t just about the pretty views. 🏔️

It’s the dusty roads on the way there.
The wind messing up your hair.
The way your person looks at you when nobody’s watching.
The spontaneous “WAIT, PICK ME UP AGAIN!” moments. 😂🤍

It’s less about making your wedding look like a movie and more about making a film that feels like YOUR love.

The wild, the goofy, the emotional, the beautifully imperfect.

Whether you’re exchanging vows in the mountains, running through a meadow at golden hour, or turning a backroad into part of your wedding-day adventure, I want you to feel like you can just be yourselves.

No performing for the camera. No pressure to make every second perfect.

Just the two of you, fully in it, while we capture the heck out of it.

Because your love story deserves to be felt, not just watched. 🫶🏼

Planning an intimate wedding or adventure elopement in Northern California or beyond? Bring me your wild little ideas. I’m already excited. 🤍

I’m not even going to pretend I’m cool about it.

Give me a beautiful place, two people wildly in love, a little bit of chaos, and a story that feels completely like them…

And I’m running around with my camera like THIS IS THE BEST JOB IN THE WORLD. 😂

Because the goal isn’t just to make something pretty.

It’s capturing the way they looked at each other.
The way everyone laughed.
The tiny in-between moments.
The energy you could actually feel.

And then turning all those little pieces into a wedding film you can come back to years from now and think—

“Oh my gosh. That’s exactly how it felt.”

Getting to create both photo AND video for my couples is one of my favorite things ever.

If you’re planning a San Francisco wedding, Bay Area wedding, or California elopement, and you want a San Francisco wedding videographer who’s going to get genuinely excited about capturing the little moments and the big ones, hi. 👋😂

I also love bringing in drone wedding video when the location calls for it, because sometimes your love story deserves a little bird’s-eye magic. ✨

Basically: if you want a Bay Area wedding videographer who wants your wedding film to feel like you—not a generic highlight reel—I’m your girl. 🎥🤍

I think I’ve officially reached the stage of my career where my favorite wedding days are the ones that make me say:

“Wait… you guys actually get to do THIS for your wedding?!” 😂

And honestly, I hope more couples realize they can.

Your wedding can be a little unconventional. A little adventurous. A little messy. A little weird. A lot of fun.

You don’t need to recreate someone else’s Pinterest board to have a beautiful wedding day.

You just need to make choices that feel like you.

That’s one of my favorite things about being a Northern California wedding photographer — there is SO much room to make the day your own.

And when that day happens to be a Yosemite wedding or Yosemite elopement? Well… you already know I’m going to be ridiculously excited. 😂🏔️

If you’re dreaming up a Yosemite elopement, Yosemite wedding, or adventurous Northern California wedding, I’m here for the big ideas, the tiny details, and every “okay, hear me out…” along the way.

Bring me your wild ideas. I probably already love them. 🤍

I’m still smiling looking through Alex & Shea’s Yosemite wedding photos.

Because I was THERE, and honestly… what a freaking day.

These two got married surrounded by their favorite people, and then immediately turned Yosemite into the world’s most beautiful summer playground.

Cocktails. 🍹
Touch Rugby. 🏉
River games. 💦
Ribbons flying everywhere.

And a whole lot of people who clearly came to CELEBRATE.

I remember standing there with my camera, trying to keep up with everything happening around me — one minute catching a quiet kiss, the next watching someone launch a rugby ball across the river.

And THAT is what I love about weddings.

The little moments.
The ridiculous moments.
The “wait, are we really doing this?” moments.

The ones you couldn't have planned perfectly if you tried.

Alex & Shea, thank you for letting me witness all of it. I’m so freaking happy I got to be there. 🤍

And if you’re planning an elopement or intimate wedding, let this be your reminder:

It doesn’t have to mean less.

Less people, maybe.
Less tradition, if you want.

But never less joy, less adventure, or less of the people and things that make your love story yours.

Your wedding can be small and still feel BIG.

And I’m very, very here for that.

Your wedding doesn’t have to be a production.

It can just be a really, really good day with your favorite people.

The kind of day where nobody is checking the timeline every five minutes.

Where you have time to actually eat your cake.

Where your best friend makes a ridiculous toast, your mom cries, someone gets grass on their nice outfit, and you sneak away for five quiet minutes just to take it all in.

Maybe there’s a grand venue.
Maybe there’s a mountaintop.
Maybe there’s a hike involved and everyone’s wearing shoes they can actually walk in. 😂

There’s no wrong way to do it.

A Yosemite wedding can be wildly beautiful without turning into a full-scale production. And a Yosemite elopement can be just as meaningful when the plan is simply:

get married → explore somewhere gorgeous → eat something delicious → hang out with our favorite people → repeat forever.

Because at the end of the day, you’re not going to remember whether every detail went according to plan.

You’re going to remember how it felt.

So build a wedding day that gives you more of that.

More laughing.
More wandering.
More hugging.
More “holy crap, we’re actually married.”
Less performing for the imaginary wedding police. 😆

Pretty is lovely.

But a day that actually feels like yours?

That’s the good stuff. 🤍

Planning a Yosemite elopement? Here’s what couples often wish they knew BEFORE the day. 🌲

Because the biggest regrets usually aren’t about the dress, the flowers, or the photos.

They’re about rushing through a day they waited so long for.

If you want your elopement wedding to feel like an actual adventure—not a photoshoot with vows squeezed in—keep these 6 things in mind:

Leave room in the timeline.

Don’t rush from vows → photos → dinner. Give yourselves time to wander, breathe, snack, and follow the moment.

Actually experience Yosemite.

You chose this place for a reason. Hike. Picnic. Chase the sunset. Stop for the view. Make the landscape part of the adventure.

Protect time for just you two.

Even with your favorite people there, carve out a little pocket with no cameras, no family, no schedule. Just you.

Bring the people who feel like home.

An elopement doesn’t have to mean alone. Invite the handful of people you genuinely can’t imagine celebrating without.

Do the things that feel like YOU.

Ice cream. Hiking boots. Your favorite meal. Your dog. A weird little tradition. A spontaneous dance.

Your wedding doesn’t need to look like everyone else’s.

Stop trying to make it perfect.

The wind will mess up your hair. Someone will cry. Your dress might get dirty. The timeline might fall apart.

Let it.

Those aren’t the moments that ruin the story. They’re the story.

Your wedding day should give you room to wander, laugh, explore, cry, eat something delicious, hug your people, and actually take it all in.

Because when you look back at your photos, you shouldn’t just remember what the day looked like.

You should remember what it felt like. 🤍🌲

That’s the kind of story I want to document as a Northern California elopement photographer.

A wedding day that felt like one long summer evening outside. 🤍

Olivia + Abhi’s wedding at Brownstone Gardens was full of the kind of moments I love capturing most — genuine laughs, emotional hugs, quiet glances and everyone simply enjoying being together.

And when your ceremony *and* reception are outdoors, the whole day has this beautifully relaxed flow to it.

Golden light filtering through the trees.
Dinner under the open sky.
Conversations lingering a little longer.
And a dance floor that comes alive as the sun goes down.

If you’re planning a Brownstone Gardens wedding and looking for a **Bay Area wedding videographer** who’ll capture not just how your day looked, but how it actually felt, this is exactly the kind of celebration I love documenting.

Here’s a little sneak peek from Olivia + Abhi’s day. ✨

Planning an outdoor Bay Area wedding? Save this for inspiration — or send me a message if you’d love your day captured like this.

Sorry I went MIA — I was in the best kind of editing rabbit hole 😆

AKA: busy living in someone else’s best memories.

For the past few days, I’ve been editing Susan & Jason’s full day video, and it honestly felt like I got invited back into their wedding day all over again.

They decided to purchase their full day video as a 1-year anniversary gift to themselves, which is already the sweetest idea.

But selfishly? It became a gift for me too.

Because while I was putting everything together, I got to relive the little moments, the big feelings, the voices, the laughter, the happy tears, and all the tiny pieces of the day that made it feel like their day.

And yes, in some of those clips, you can definitely see me having an absolute blast too. Professional? Always. Emotionally invested? Also 100%.

I can’t tell you how many sweet in-between moments I found while editing this, or how many times I giggled and got teary-eyed sitting in front of my computer.

And that’s exactly what makes a full day video such a treat to have.

So… what is a full day video?

A full day video is basically everything we captured from your wedding day, put together in a chronological, polished, and very watchable way — the “let’s sit down with a glass of w**e, a cheese board, and relive the whole thing” version.

Not just the highlight moments.
Not just the “best of the best.”
But the full story unfolding as it happened.

Your wedding day goes by so fast. One minute you’re getting ready, and the next minute someone is handing you cake and asking if you’ve eaten dinner yet.

A full day video lets you slow it all down and revisit the day with so much more room to feel it.

And the best part? You don’t have to decide right away.

You can purchase your full day video later — even a year later — as an anniversary gift to yourselves.

Which, honestly, feels like a very elite married-couple move ✨

Happy 1st anniversary, Susan & Jason. Your day was such a joy to revisit 🤍
