This all started when I bought a nicer camera to take pictures of my daughter after she was born. Friends and family would have me take pictures for all and every occasion. And then I started shooting pictures for friends of friends, and I found out that this new passion is so
mething that I love. It excites me to meet new people and capture the moments of their families and little ones. I love to hear their reactions when they get just a glimpse of a few photos from their session. They fall in love with their photos because of how I captured that stubborn little boy who didn't want to smile at first, or because of how their senior daughter rocked her photo session! It's fun, I wouldn't do it if it wasn't... and so I have a laid-back approach and will just get to know you at first. I will get a feel for what you want and incorporate some of my own creative ideas. I mostly work with natural light as I find it more flattering. I love shooting outdoors, but over the winter months I use a backdrop setup inside for child portraits. I LOVE taking pictures of kids and babies. I am very patient....I think you would have to be! I look for the candid moments and shoot the kiddos as they are. Sometimes the more serious looks are the most precious. But I can usually capture a smile or two.
