Inside the engine room of the Daniel J. Morrell. Sittting on the bottom of Lake Huron 218 feet deep. SS Daniel J. Morrell was a 603-foot (184 m) Great Lakes freighter that broke up in a strong storm on Lake Huron on 29 November 1966, taking with her 28 of her 29 crewmen. The freighter was used to carry bulk cargoes such as iron ore but was running with only ballast when the 60-year-old ship sank. When built in 1906, she was the "Queen of the Lakes", being the longest ship then in service on the Great Lakes.

The Francisco Morazan ran aground in 1960 and still sits on the shoal it wrecked on. Located at South Manitou island - Lake Michigan - Leelanau County.

This hole in the sandstone is made from rocks getting trapped in a crack and rolling around from the wave action over and over again. The push and pull of the waves start to roll the rocks around in a circle creating a round hole with rocks on the bottom of it. Located in Au-Train Michigan - Lake Superior.

The SS Florida was a 270-foot wooden Great Lakes package freighter that sank on May 21, 1897, after colliding with the larger freighter George W. Roby in a dense fog off Presque Isle, Michigan. Today, the remarkably intact wreck rests upright in Lake Huron in 206 feet of water. The Roby smashed into the starboard side of the Florida and sank within minutes. You can also see the broken masts laying on the deck.
