I updated today because my entire feed is ads. After I did this, I see everyone again. I’m not sure how it works, but it did!
To regain friends in your news feed and get rid of ads: hold your finger anywhere in this post and click ′copy’. Go to your page where it says ‘What's on your mind?’. Tap your finger anywhere in the blank field and click paste. This upgrades the system somehow.
It's sad we have to keep doing this to kill the ads and see our friends.

The 35th Iceman Cometh mountain bike race started in 48 waves of riders from the Kalkaska Airport this morning. Around 5,000 racers, a huge and wonderful day in the woods, ending about 30 miles at Timber Ridge in Acme.

The hard working crews that have rebuilt the US-31/M-72 corridor from Garfield Ave to just beyond Division street have completed their work ahead of the November schedule. It is a great improvement for traffic safety and pedestrian movement. The work was done in two shifts, from early spring on E.Front to the National Cherry Festival, and the Grandview Parkway from E. Front at the parkway to just west of Division street. The final stretch to the M-72/M-22 intersection will be done in the summer of 2025, and include a roundabout at that busy intersection.
The images are from July, 2024 (top) to Oct 25, 2024.

The new and wonderful Senior Center is nearing completion. The old building was taken down in September, 2023, and the removal and clearing or the site and the building of the new structure has been ongoing. It will serve the region for years, and serve us well.
