Sometime in the 2000’s I came up with the name, LightCentric Photography. While it is so often repeated as to have become banal (at least to photographers), the meaning of the word “photography” is - roughly translated - “painting with light.” No matter what else we do to compose and make photographs, the light will make or break it. Not all of my photography is “centered” around light, but certa
inly the philosophy is. Because Facebook has become the place for us “baby boomers” to “be,” I created this page a couple years back, to supplement the publication of my photography and writing. I have been blogging since the early 2000’s, first on the Google “Blogger” platform and then in 2008, moving the blog to the WordPress Platform ( http://lightcentric.wordpress.com). Photographs can be browsed and purchased from my LightCentricPhotography.com website (https://lightcentricphotography.com). My LightCentric Photography Blog contains my musings and accounts about all things photographic, including travel, and can be found at http://lightcentric.wordpress.com
