Quick question: when's the last time you looked at your camera roll and thought "I have nothing to post"?

I hear this constantly—and it's almost never true. The content is there. What's missing is a system for turning everyday moments into posts that actually represent your brand.

That's why I built the 7-Day Brand Visibility Challenge—completely free. For one week, you'll get one simple, practical move a day: no overwhelm, no "post 3x a day," no fancy gear. Just small shifts that add up to a real content plan by day 7.

When your visuals don't match the caliber of your work, ideal clients scroll right past.

You don't have to scramble for content to fix that. Intentional, purposeful imagery shows people exactly who you are and builds trust from the start.

Social media is a bit like the Wild West right now.

If your livelihood depends on your Instagram or page, Meta verification is cheap insurance against hacks and surprise suspensions.

Most business owners have hundreds of video clips sitting on their camera roll that never see the light of day.

You know Reels work to get your business seen. But sitting down to figure out a hook, pick an audio, write a caption, and edit the whole thing usually takes way more time than you have.

That is why I created The Reel Lab.

This is not 3.5 hours of sitting in a chair listening to theory. It is a live, hands-on working workshop where we actually create and finish your Reels together in the room.

You bring your phone and the clips you already have. I will help you pick your best ideas, write stronger hooks, use AI to speed up your messaging, and edit everything cleanly without overcomplicating it.

You come with raw clips and leave with finished Reels ready to post, plus a simple system you can use again and again.

When: Friday, October 30 | 12:00 to 3:30 PM
Where: Anythink Nature Library (Thornton, CO)

Early bird registration is $199 through September 30 (saves $50, regular $249).

Spots are limited, so everyone gets 1-on-1 help.

Luke Barnett stirred up a great debate this week about creators with 100k followers who still struggle to book client work.

Fifty thousand people watching a trending reel will rarely pay your retainers or buy your product.

When someone lands on your profile ready to hire you, they look for proof. They check your portfolio, your visual consistency, and whether you look like someone who can actually deliver results. That trust gets built before they ever get on a discovery call. It's built based on how you show up.

I would rather have 1,000 local business owners who know my craft and trust my process than 50,000 strangers who just liked a viral audio.

In my branding sessions, we spend hours on pre-shoot strategy mapping out exact client pain points and planning how images will live on a website and in social media before I ever touch a shutter button. When potential clients see intentional visual proof and a clear message, you only need a few hundred of the right people paying attention to stay booked for months.

Currently contemplating this over an Indian House mango lassi while exporting a client gallery.

My client walked into our Denver shoot last week with three outfit changes, her props in hand, and zero camera anxiety.

Most people think feeling natural in front of a camera comes down to memorizing angles or practicing smiles in the mirror until you feel less awkward.

That usually leads to overthinking.

The reason she arrived relaxed and ready to roll had everything to do with our pre-shoot planning consultation. We mapped out her business goals, the specific problems her clients face, and the exact purpose of every image we planned to capture.

When you know where a photograph will live on your website and what message it delivers, the camera stops feeling intimidating. You stop worrying about what your hands are doing and focus on the story you are communicating to your future clients.

Having that structure also opened up room to experiment. Once we nailed the planned shots, new ideas started popping up, and we spent the last twenty minutes capturing unscripted laughter over coffee by the studio window.

Those spontaneous coffee shots ended up being the first ones she put on her homepage.

Have you used every brand photo in your library?

Good! That means you’ve been using them.

You’ve shared them on social media, added them to your website, and used them throughout your marketing. Now you’re starting to feel like everyone has seen them.

AI makes it tempting to take one of those photos and ask for a new outfit, pose, location, or setting.

Before you do, there are two things to consider.

Typically, photographers retain the copyright to the photographs they create. Your image license allows you to use those photos, but it may not give you permission to use them as AI prompts to create new images.

There’s also your brand.

Your business changes. You change. Your photos should, too.

If you’re asking AI to create the brand photos you wish you had, it might simply be time to create them for real.

Maybe your brand photo library has done its job. Let’s refresh it.

On September 29, I'm opening up two gorgeous model homes in Westminster for a hands-on Content Day.

If you've been struggling to find good lighting, clean backgrounds, or just a dedicated block of time to film Reels, take photos, and batch your marketing content, this is built for you.

You bring your phone, a couple of outfit changes, and your ideas. I'll be there the entire time helping with angles, lighting, posing, and creative direction so you leave with weeks of fresh content ready to post.

There are two ways to join:

Content Day ($97): Full access to create across both model homes with guidance and inspiration from me throughout the event.

VIP Experience ($249): Everything above, plus a private 15-minute Mini Brand Session with me, 3 professionally edited images, professional B-roll footage, and priority access to preferred spaces.

Spots are limited so everyone has plenty of space and time to create without feeling rushed.

Being a photographer means my knees crack louder than the shutter, AND I'll pop a squat to get the perfect angle. 😂

Thinking about printing AI-generated artwork? Here’s something you should know.

AI artwork can look sharp and detailed on your phone or computer, yet look very different when printed.

A file may look fine as a 4×6 or 5×7. As the print gets larger, you may start seeing pixelation, blurriness, loss of detail, strange textures, distorted features, or inconsistencies that weren’t obvious on your screen.

Before printing, zoom in and look closely at hands, faces, lettering, backgrounds, patterns, reflections, and other small details. AI can create unintended elements that become much more noticeable when enlarged.

There’s also copyright to consider. Under current U.S. copyright guidance, purely AI-generated material is not eligible for copyright protection. Human-created portions of a work may qualify when sufficient original creative work has been added.

AI can create a beautiful image. That doesn’t automatically make it print-ready—or copyrightable.

Save or share this with someone creating AI art.
