Ever seen a baby ladybug?!?!?

Today, I was driving along the highway in Redmond and noticed a tiny area in between the on ramp and off ramp that was covered in these gorgeous white flowers (Daisies, I think?) I immediately wanted to go check them out to snap some photos, but we were out running errands and didn’t have time at the moment.

Once we got home, I grabbed my camera, headed to the spot again and at this time, the sun had actually graced us with her presence for once lolol. Upon further inspection of the daisies, I noticed they were covered in adult Ladybugs and I even located some Larva! This is all REALLY serendipitous because tomorrow, I meet with my publisher for the first time since signing with them, and we are beginning the publication of my new children’s book that is centered around ladybugs!

Took my niece to see Deception Falls. She isn’t much into nature and outdoor things so I was nervous in telling her this was one of the most magical places I had ever been.

A few minutes in our hike I found her standing near water staring into it. I said, “Hey, yo! You ok?” And she replied “this is just so peaceful.”

I took it as a sign that it was ok to grab a few under water shots in the meantime.

My birthday wish for this year is to get as much of my art into your hands as possible. I know not everyone can/wants to purchase a print, and that's fine! I would love to just get steady engagement on my professional photography page because right now it sucks big time.

Go give your girl some likes and shares, because honestly, I get really discouraged without them.

I wasn’t sure which image I liked more, so I decided to share them both. But please, view them in full screen mode to see the full images!

Went and spent the sunset with the Elk herd in North Bend. As the sun began to set behind them, you could start to notice their breath in the chilly autumn air.

I quickly found a parking spot, amongst other photographers and walked a quarter mile to be able to get some shots of these beauties. I seriously LOVE their breath in these. Zoom in for a closer look!

We had one day on the forecast this week where it was going to be mostly sunny. I don't mind the rain, but it makes it really difficult to take my gear out and get decent stuff, so whenever I see a break in the weather, I like to take advantage of my opportunities.

Today, I got to hang with my dear friend Kim, whom I made wake up at the ass crack of dawn to drive to a new location, and to explore. Thankfully, she's up for anything! We found some beautiful back country roads, and ultimately ended on this one where the sun rays where beaming through the autumn trees.

I wasn’t sure if I was actually going to wake up for sunrise, because since I moved to the forest, I sleep in a lot later lol. But I set 50 alarms beginning at 4am and got my ass up to drive an hour an a half away to a spot where I predicted the colors for sunrise would be.

For just a few short moments, the sky behind Mount Rainier turned pink, as it sat there before this foggy field.

I’m so happy I got up and experienced this morning! Happy Sunday peeps.
