2 years! ✨ ✨ ✨ Time does fly when you are having fun!📸

Last Thursday, I celebrated 2 years in business with my first ever Exhibit, and it was more than a celebration. ✨ It was a love letter.💌 To the women who trusted me with their truth, who sat in front of my lens and let me see them. Really see them. And allowed me to build their legacy .

To all 47 of you who showed up in support for me..THANK YOU!!!!! I cannot express enough in words what that meant to me.

Two years of portraits, stories, strength, and moments of truth. And my heart has never been more full. 💗

This just happened?
My first ever image recognition!

And somehow what makes this feel even more special is that it comes from the very first photography community I joined back in 2016. When I was was just beginning my photography journey and trying to find my way.

Thank you .magazine for this recognition- I am so grateful. I have learned so much here over the years and have been endlessly inspired by the incredibly talented people in this community.

This image was taken in July 2025 during a shootout with where we clearly created some magic together! Cat, thank you for your guidance, and for a day I honestly will NEVER forget.

Thank you for being such a beautiful model and human being. Photographing you draped in a piece of my culture felt so special to me. The emerald green South Indian with its rich gold embroidery carried so much meaning, tradition, and memory for me.

If the last two years of building my business have taught me anything, it’s this: FEAR NEVER LEAVES.
There is fear of failing. Fear of not being enough. Fear of stepping into the next level of who you’re meant to become. Fear of disappointment someone… etc etc.

And yet… we must keep going.
Some mornings, I wake up feeling inspired and full of purpose. Other mornings, I feel heavy, uncertain, and exhausted by the weight of it all. But on those days, I gently remind myself why I started. And this is it-

If my work can help even one person feel seen…
If I can help someone reconnect with themselves, believe in their dreams, or preserve memories that will one day mean EVERYTHING to their family… then that is reason enough to keep moving forward.
So yes… I am scared sometimes.
I am uncertain. I am tired.
I am still figuring things out.
But I’ve learned that courage is not the absence of fear. It’s choosing to take the next step even while your heart trembles.
And maybe that’s all we really have to do.
Keep the faith and just keep moving forward ❤️…
