Some venues just know how to light a room (or a lawn). Ridgewood Country Club and the trees around it teamed up to give Gina & Chris’s wedding day the kind of golden, dappled light you can’t fake and can’t order in advance.

This weekend, that story reached one of its most beautiful chapters yet — vows exchanged overlooking the water at Harbour Point, surrounded by family, friends, and years of love that led them exactly here. Fast forward to this past weekend: Melissa + Chris stood in a sun-drenched farmhouse and turned “next door neighbors” into “next of kin.”

Caile + Eric said “I do” at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club this past Friday, the kind of day that reminds you why a soft, romantic palette never goes out of style. Mismatched greens layered with the softest shades of pink, set against rolling fairway views that made the whole course feel like it was showing off right alongside them.

Friday light was unreal and Caile + Eric soaked up every second of it, first look nerves and all. Their private vows after came with more than a few tears, the good kind. A joyful day from start to finish, beautifully captured by our associate team, who caught the quiet moments just as well as the big ones.

Some people spend years looking for the right person. Kaitlyn + Shane just had to be assigned the right dorm hallway.

Swim team neighbors, dating almost immediately, married eight years later at The Ryland Inn. Blue skies all day, then one rain shower that waited until the very end of photos to make its entrance.

Shane seeing Kaitlyn for the first time is the kind of reaction you don’t get to script. We just got to catch it. What a day!

She’d tell you Pride and Prejudice is her favorite film, and if you’d wandered the Ryland Inn that day, you’d understand exactly why, because the whole afternoon felt like it was written for her.

Spotty light drifting through the trees, quiet elegance tucked into every corner of that converted silo, and two people who met each moment of the day with an easy, unhesitating yes, to the vows, to the weather, to each other.

No misunderstandings to untangle over 300 pages here, just two people who already knew.

Some love stories take five acts and a letter from Darcy to sort themselves out, but Christie and Kyle skipped straight to the good part, with the Ryland Inn as their backdrop the whole way through.

The light at Laura + Will’s Spring Lake engagement session was absolutely not fair to the rest of my sessions this month.

Golden, warm, straight out of a movie. And then you add two people who are this giddy about each other, and honestly, I just stood there pointing a camera at magic.

These two made it so easy. Zero awkward posing, all real laughing, actual can’t-take-their-eyes-off-each-other energy under the trees.

Also, *the outfits* (!!!) Somebody give Laura + Will a styling award.

I did not want this session to end, and neither did the sun, apparently, because it just kept getting better and better.

Ryan spent all of high school chasing Julia, and Julia spent all of high school not making it easy on him. Some things take time. It wasn’t until after college, when life had other plans for both of them, that the two finally had to face what had been right in front of them the whole time. No more excuses, no more denying it, just two people finally ready to say yes.

Julia + Ryan said I do at Ryland Inn on Saturday under a sky that would not stop crying, but nothing, not even a full day of rain, could put a damper on this one. There were umbrellas held over veils, laughter between raindrops, and not a single complaint from either of them. Just a whole lot of joy, a whole lot of love, and a story that proves persistence really does pay off.

Congratulations, you two. Worth the wait.
